Agreed. It's kind of a wash... Given his "Silver Spoon" upbringing and troubles that folks can get in when they have too much money and time...his pops apepars to be trying to curb it. So, maybe another troubled player wouldn't have the tin w/o the potential yang. Here's hoping Howie, Jimmy, Tony, Kromer, Marc, etc...all steer him in the right direction!

I know virtually nothing about college players. I pretty much rely on all you guys for assessments... All I know is the position was a need. From that standpoint, I am happy. And I refuse to poo-poo the pick until I see true reason to do so. Until then, I'm assuming this is a guy that'll be a solid player for many years. I have a feeling this was a pick with Kromer's input big time. It'll be a great story if this guy indeed has his act together now and becomes a consumate pro. Welcome to the Bears Mr. Long! I'm right there with you! We called it "rib-fest"...we used to get like 6 racks between 6 of us. Then cut them in 1/2, and marinade/sauce each 1/2 differently. So, we'd all get at least 1 rib of a different flavor...12 different flavors in all. We fume over it being taken away! I have one freind that's coming over, and we'll cook up 2...but it's not the same!

Agreed. And I wish it was Saturday! I need to grill and consume tasty beverages while this is going on!
