  1. Slow day for news... Will be until NHL and NBA finals are over...
  2. No news until he's actually signed...
  3. It will rest on Shae... If he does well this year, then it's all good. Even if not, all we need is Jeffrey and a good one this past draft. This past draft was fully under his watch. So, I put more stock in this past one than last year's.
  4. Thanks for sharing that... I was unfamiliar with him. RIP...

  6. I like the numbers retired... We just lobby the league to use other positional numbers. Can we help it if we have so many legendary players? Cincy will never have our problem.
  7. Agreed. He doesn't get enough credit for being an amazing TE. Virtually revolutionary at the position. Heck, you know 50 will probalby be retired soon too! We will stat using".5's"... 37.5, 28.7...
  8. Nice. Was that a potential passing of the baton from Url to Jay?
  9. We will agree to disagree... Him and Ray Lewis just may well go in together. That would be a fine story for the NFL.
  10. I specifically remember him chasing and bringing down Vick in his prime...

  12. The first link is broken. An obvious homage to the trashiness of the floozy... McCarthy could be the most annoying woman on earth. A mute button bring her status up greatly. I have no idea who the 3rd lady is...
  13. HoF for certain. SHould be a first ballot inductee. Other than Ray Lewis, no other LB is more deserving of the nod. He'll get in... I have no argument with your assessment of the big 3. Although, I'd have liked to see Bill Geroge's stats in there too... Going on pure gut...I'd go Butkus 1, Singletary 2, and Url 3. Singletary played with a stacked deck. So I think his numbers could have been even higher had he not played with a handful of other HoF'ers... But that's only a gut feeling. I just thank my lucky stars that I had the opportunity to watch every single move Urlacher made. I didn't have that with Butkus because I was too young, and I didn't follow football as religiously when Singletary played. Only as his career winded down, did I do so. That group of 3 (and the addition of Bill George) is simply the best "generations" of MLB's in NFL history. How lucky are we to have them as Bears!? I eagerly await the next!

  16. If this is a diamond in the rough...this could be huge.
  17. Not in the least... Emotions run high...and in this day of instant news, it's just a little TMI in all honesty. If this were 10 years ago, all we would have known is that Url retired and praised the team and fans. And when all the dust settles, that's how it'll be remembered. But you are correct...the team played it right. But they don't care if they got grief, they have SuperBowls to win!
