  1. If he's great, at least he's in the AFC now... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/...eggie-mckenzie/

  3. I've got no problem going LT... I think the key is to get a blue chip player at any position with that first pick....
  4. ..and with our vaunted D giving up too many points and yards.
  5. Agreed, throw the checkbook... But by virtue we aren't a complete re-build makes us attractive... Every gig has a plus and minus...
  6. Seems like it. To me, if I'm the GM, I just draft a big coverage D-back and make Smith coach him how to tackle better... He is supposed to be a great coach after all. All he needs is better talent, right?
  7. Smith's math is like dealing with a lawyer... It's not technically wrong, but common-sensically, it's complete bullcrap. But oddly, had Cutty not gone down, he'd have probably made the playoffs. Which is why stats don't tell the whole story really...
  8. Between that and only one playoff appearance in 5 years...it is truly a wonder. Other than he's conned Virgie.
  9. I'd take either...but it seems J-Jack is more bird in hand since there's a good chance Bowe will be tagged. Open the damn checkbook McCaskeys! You got the interest last season, it's time to pay up now!
  10. Good points. On D, my thought is why can't the GM simply draft good players regardless of scheme? Url, Briggs, Tillman and Pep can play in any scheme...we need guys like that. Granted, the tackles and safeties need special attention, and if a switch to 3-4 were to happen, there'd be some more adjustments...but to me, you get pass rushing ends or LB's and a coverage corner or big safety that can cover the likes of megatron... I know I'm over-simplifying, but there is some sense just to bring in pure talent.
  11. I would imagine Ravens... But the hope is he can take the bears D as is and improve it to be better than the Ravens...
  12. I'm honestly not sure Ditka would want to do it! And I'm not sure the family would want him back. After all they dissed him pretty hard not including him in some of the statues around soldier and not retiring his number. Plus, I'm honestly not sure how great of a GM would he be. Now, to replace Teddy...hell yeah!
  13. Agreed. i should have said favorite. But, I guess they're kind of one in the same. And all BS until something actually happens!
  14. Maybe that's why we bounced JA?!

  16. Some version of ATL's White and Julio Jones....
  17. Easier said than done. Plus, I think a veteran is still needed. A strong vet and a strong rook will be the 1-2 punch Cutler needs.
  18. Welcome board! Be prepared for jason telling you OL is a bigger priority! Which, I also happen to believe. Waiting until the 5th to get one is too long. One needs to be had in the first 2 rounds. Maybe 3rd at worst, but besides WR, there's no greater need.
  19. Not really knowing the players, I like the positions taken in the Tek mock... I think I'd rather see a CB or S than a TE, but overall, if it played out like that, I'd be OK with that. WR OL OL DE OL TE WR
  20. Interesting... Maybe Davis can get better numbers with a better OC...
  21. If losing Olsen was one more weight on the fire JA scale, then it was worth to see him go...
  22. Didn't like the trade then, still don't.
