  1. He's saying that the sky is blue is all. Right now, Webb is our LT. Tice doesn't draft or pick up players in FA. So if he's given Webb, he'll do his best to try to help Webb succeed. That's really all we can expect from Tice at this point. If management gives him something better, I'm sure Tice will be more than happy to put that person in at LT.
  2. I follow your thought process! However, I'm still 100% convinced our stagnation is a 3 headed monster. So far, one head has been removed...2 to go!
  3. Angelo simply made too many mistakes. I'm not really sure how you can honestly say his track record was pretty good. I could care less what he did in Tampa and his overall resume. I only care about his time in CHI. Ruskell may not be as bad as we think due to his guilt by association w/ Angelo. And maybe he learned from his stint in SEA. But, a fresh start seems to be the best approach. We won't know any of it until it plays itself out.
  4. He has shown potential. Maybe we can lean on him for years to come... Another young S and a young CB, and our secondary could be solid.
  5. Holy gameplanning Batman! We're acting like a big boy team now! That's outstanding news!
  6. Seriously. It gives me goosebumps. Could audibles be in the mix? You know, like a real offense?
  7. So much would depend on what we did in FA up to that point. If we shore up an OL and a top flight WR, BPA would seem the way to go. Even if we don't, going BPA is probably not a bad move since we have so many holes to fill. There could be a case to draft Richardson as Forte's replacement the following season. Tag Forte now, with the potential of letting him go after the season. And get Richardson up to speed in the meantime. Not saying that's what I want...just that one could make a case for just about any scenario.
  8. Thanks for doing the legwork on that. I'm not surprised by the results. Turnover on ST, Hester's injuries, having just Knox over Manning, etc...all contribute to it as well I think.
  9. I read his quotes regarding Braynless on PFT...and lost it laughing!
  10. Agreed. And with Cliff Stein handling more of the money matters, it may work out well.
  11. Well, I guess that narrows it down to Licht, Emery, Ross and Ruskell. Hopefully whoever is chosen does well.
  12. I have had troubles with something already on my computer...but it you're just pulling something from the net, there's the "picture frame" button above pretty much right under the "s" in "Fonts". All you do is post the URL of the imagine. I'm certain others can help you more with a picture you have on your own computer.
  13. I don't think you're off base. There is reason to think Tice can make more of the OL, TE and offense in generanl than what happened under Martz. He might not. But I think he's shown enough and has had enough experience (especially since he was a TE in the NFL) to enlist hope.

    McNabb

Sour grapes is all. At this point, who really cares?
  15. Interesting. I honestly know very little about these guys other than what's in the press. If he is the one, hopefully he's successful here. And hopefully he can bring Bowe in!
  16. Interesting point. Built-in insurance...
  17. But do you really see a one year GM contract? I honestly can't ever recall hearing of one in any of the major professional sports...
  18. If they go Ruskell, I think it'll be a 2 year deal. Same as Smith. They'll eat both if they have to.
  19. Sounds like the plot line form the movie "Top Secret!" (start at 00:35)
