Enderle Takes Bulk of 2nd Team Reps
Martz of course never went out right and said it... But his actions speak louder than words.

I think bowlingtwig may be on vacation...he asked that if an admin has his number, that he'd vote by vote or text I believe.

Sounds like a good policy to me! Too many NFL guys could use the same discipline considering the volume of sheer stupidity that usually emits from their pie holes and twitter fingers...

Enderle Takes Bulk of 2nd Team Reps
I don't think anyone here was saying he put on a Montana-esque showing in the first preseason game. I, at least, am coming from having seen him perfrom numerous times...and most improtantly, on the grand stage of the NFC championship game. I like Hanie's moxie. Apparently Martz does not. Neither him or Enderle are amazing at this point. But, I would give the keys ot the car to Hanie is something happens to Jay.

Jonathan Stinchcomb Cut by saints
Agreed.

Enderle Takes Bulk of 2nd Team Reps
I get the very bad feeling Martz just has it in for Hanie. I do not trust his QB evaluation. If I'm Smith I just tell him, Hanie is the #2...if something happens to Jay, figure it out mastermind. Use the parts you have.

Whoa whoa whoa!! That'll be enough of that talk! I've seen enough of Martz's desired back-up's to last 10 lifetimes...

Excellent Good, Bad and Ugly
Welcome board! I think you definitley have a point. Tice has always been about big bodies moving the pile. Martz and Smith, not so much. I'd like to see the OL not only be able to pound, but have some semblance of QB protection. I can't imagine Martz would allow Tice to call the shots...but oddly, if going by last year, he kind of is.

Maybin????
...and looking at what we already have on the DL, not needed. How about any good OL out there?

Great observations! I was very impressed with Barber, Bell and Unga. Those guys ran hard and mean. Lowered shoulders, bounced off tackles... A great balance to Forte's style. Also, did you notice the guns on Okoye? Between Izzy, Peppers and him, they look like a superhero group like the Avengers! I'm honestly not sure how the results of games will go in the season...but I got the vibe we will be dangerous to play against. I like that.

A thought on Forte
Exactly! I saw the game replay last night on NFL network, and the smell test provided some healthy scents coming from Barber and Bell... They ran hard and mean. We need that kind of change of pace from Forte more than what I've seen from Taylor last year. Taylor looks to be the man out unless something drastic happens. Even Unga ran mean.

Corey Wooton expected to miss 4 weeks
Thankfully we have some depth on the D line. Wootton will miss having reps,etc...and could hurt his chances. But I imagine he;ll get some opportunities.
