  1. I like that in a WR. It wasn't just with us, it was with everyone. We only heard about it with us becasue no one could care what Detroit did other than the week before our game. He wasn't a Packer or Viqueen, so I find him far less evil...
  2. I think it's possible. And I don't believe it'll break the bank.
  3. The Trib Live guys talked about Roy. Apparently Martz had success with him in Detroit. And that the WR coach, Drake, worked with him in college. I wouldn't mind taking a chance on him at the right price. he could be out to prove something...
  4. I know very little on him...can he play fullback?
  5. Sully made mention on the yahoo site of changing some of the elements (# of active, inactive, etc)...will that be discussed here or on the yahoo site?
  6. Your beer is SO much better! In a completely unrelated not to football, I was just in Dublin 2 weeks ago. Loved it! It was my 3rd time there. We stayed at the Conrad by St. Stephen's Green and were happy beyond belief. Our AAA travel agent got us a great deal there. I practically had to be dragged out of the Guinness brewery! I got my free pint, 2 of my travel group peoples' pints, a random pint that whoever poured it didn't want it, then got 2 more free pints at the cash bar just chatting with the bartendter. And at the end, he gave me a bottle of the Foreign Extra Stout to put in my bag to enjoy at the hotel! I had the red carpet rolled out! Then went to Jameson for some lovely drams... Ate at Brazenhead, shook the hand of the mummy at St. Michan's, and had a ridiculous meal at the Cellar at the Merrion. Then topped it all off with hitting up O'Donoughue's for many hours! Slainte indeed!
  7. In fact, they probably wouln't even go that far. They'd buy a matchbox car to play with to distract themselves. At least aspirin thins blood...
  8. and Dane is back into the fold!
  9. There won't be. The fools at the hall seem to think we are stocked with Jerry Rice clones in our WR corps. When the reality is quite different... Cutlner needs some freaking help out there. It has to start with the O Line, and then end with a reliable target that helps instead of hinders.
  10. easy come easy go... Honestly, none of the undrafted guys should amount to much...
  11. Ha! I've been screaming w/ jason about OL! But, I've also been screaming about a big body true WR! Cutler needs both.
  12. OhioSt WR Dane Sanzenbacher Highlights.... My freind at work (who's an OSU alum, loves this kid...says he's a Welker in the making)
  13. I'm excited, but I have no expectations. Once thing I've learned is the more I expect from the bears, the more I tend to be disappointed! I'm letting things just run threir course for a while before I really start to get attached to certain scenarios. Besides re-signing a few of our guys, I just want to see OL and WR addressed...
  14. Bingo! I want a big body WR and a big man on the OL!
  15. That would be a hell of a signing... But, I hope that won't be the only splash.
  16. Thank for the leg Brad... You did well for a long while. But, it's time to move on.
  17. Agreed. The only mighty mite I'd consider would be Steve Smith...and even then, I'm weary.
  18. All I know is that we appear to have plenty of room to work something bigger than run of the mill guys... Let's make it happen Bears! Get some legit talent on the OL, at WR! Then shore up the DL and secondary!
  19. It's just taking the low road is all... Even if asked about it, the easy response is "You know, it was an unforunate event...but we've all moved past it and are ready to play some football."
  20. I'd prefer early morning Sat the 3rd...then in case I have holiday weekend plans, it shouldn't interfere...
