  1. Exactly... Next year is a sham. In fact, there should be thought of a class action lawsuit agasint the McCaskey's for trying to defraud Bears fans out of ticket money actually thinking a professionl product will be put on the field.
  2. Getting depserate! But good for Johnny! In all honesty, they need to 86 this game. It's beyond pointless.
  3. Honestly, you're right...it doesn't matter, and more likely could be a plus that Smith is backing off slightly in recruiting due to the interview. His desires have been busts and I'd rather have Jerry doing it than Smith. Waitng is a HUGE problem. How can it not be? The longer you take the get a staff in order, the less time you have to prepare. Als, the longer you wait, the fewer top candidates are out there. It also gives off 2 impressions. 1. They don't know what they want or know what they're doing 2. No one wants to come here with a lame duck staff The longer things take, the more fuel goes to those 2 fires. Perception isn't everything. But it's a lot. If I'm NO or Indy I could care less. Were in the SB! And one will win it. Deal with issues after that. It's a small price to pay for winning it all. Everyone else who lost, gets a small advantage then. I'm sorry, I just do not buy the spin that this lingering search is good. It's rationalization based on fallacy. And that fallacy is that the powers that be know what they're doing.
  4. I think the jury's not quite out on Flacco yet. And the Ravens aren't really known as a passing powerhouse. They are what we used to be. Strong running, great D, decent QB. It's not a bad thing considering no one appears to want the job. Maybe he does. But now I'm worried that if no one wants the job, do we really want the guy that'll take it?
  5. Exactly! Bring it! With a healthy Url, I want the chance to lay him out and stop his starting streak!
  6. See, waiting this out does cause problems. The longer this takes, the worse it is overall.
  7. Have you ever interviewd for a job you didn't really want? I know I have. It's good practice for when you have one you really want. As much as you need to go in with a positive attitude, reality can strike and you can exude indifference. Not good form, but it happens. I think that is a legit possibility of what went down. So, yes, the Bears may not have been impressed, but in reality, he may not have wanted the job. Yes, they are taking their time because no one wants the job. There are great candidates out there. But they are too good to want to work with a lame duck.
  8. We're the same, but I can't add Rex. Too big of a disappointment. I've got gutty Jim Miller.
  9. 1. Jim McMahon Then in no particular order: 2. Jim Miller 3. Erik Kramer 4. Kyle Orton 5. Jay Cutler I can only really choose guys I've seen play. Respect to Luckman, etc...
  10. Turnovers are the difference. I really hope he retires... But that sight made me smile! I love seeing him lose!
  11. How did you come by hating the Saints?
  12. Definitley truth to that. But the flipside is error like Bazuin and lakc of getting any real OL help for years are dire errors...
  13. Let's not annoint him yet... A Porsche is nice, but you need gas and regular maintenance to make it run. Right now, our organization is like Mad Max world with no gasoline...
  14. He should have canned Smith then...
  15. Interesting. JA may have to suck it up then, because no one else appears interested in the gig...
