  1. He wasn't exactly bad last year either. I thought that he really great considering the talent around him.
  2. In the SB he wasn't completely horrific either like some people in the media make it sound like. The Defense just couldn't stop the run at all the game. The D was bad in that game.
  3. Good stats, unfortunately he has only played in 1 game. We have had a problem playing in Minnesota so hopefully he proves that he can kick butt there as well. Thanks for the stats.
  4. impressive to say the least. How many QB's can say they played better on the road than they did at home. Now a question that I have is how does he play in a dome since we have at least a few dome games and we have seen what that crap in Minnesota has done to a few people.
  5. I agree. I love the fact that Phillips takes care of team and he lets the other coaches and stuff do there job. Makes everyones job alot easier.
  6. I thought Knox was supposed to have great hands and speed so what is up with a 72 rating for his hands and a 94 in speed.
  7. Great point. I think we have all seen enough games to agree that Favre really sucks at protecting the ball. There is a reason that he has thrown the most INT's in a career besides the fact that he has lasted for an amazing 18 years so far. Most QB's struggle just to play for 15 years because of all the beating they take.
  8. I am not sure if Hester will have 91 catches this year as I think we are deeper now as a whole at WR than Denver was last year so I believe we will be more balanced. However I believe Hester will break 1000 yards this year and I am also looking for him to get between 5-7 receiving TD's and I believe now that he is getting more comfortable in his abilities at wideout I think we could see him even return a few kicks. I don't expect to get 6 as I don't think we will see him return Kicks as much this year with all of the other options that we have there now.
  9. I tend to agree. In the past we rarely if ever went after a big key off season transition. Most recently to this year I would point to the signing of Mush which was key at the time and then before that they signing of Tate from Kansas City. That contract was a huge deal that KC decided not to match as Tate was a RFA. We are not like teams like Washington and Dallas for example who try and buy there championship. Every year those teams are going after big key guys. We have tended not to do that in the past. This year happens to be the one exception for us. I don't ever remember trading for a guy that is still young and still getting better but ihas put great numbers like Cutler has. Outside of Cutler we have gotten guys who can help fill a void like we got when we signed Bullocks(possibly not sure on him though), Pace and Omiyale will help solidify the Oline tremendously from this past year. Then you want to look at what has transpired within the coaching ranks within this organization. A lot of change without actually changing the HC.

  11. I agree and then I believe you would also hear more about how Cutler made the receivers look good in Denver instead of the other way around.
  12. I agree. I am in love with Johnny Knox. He has the ability to not only stretch the field with his amazing speed but he has the ability to adjust and bring in some difficult passes. His hands and speed could be real trouble for a defender to cover him particularly with his amazing hands that he has. He said at the Bears Expo that he will need to work on his route running. Hopefully his route running is becomes good and he can learn how shake a defender out of his jock strap.
  13. I completely agree. I love this guy. Every year we continue to have great cap room space to go out and sign a key FA if we wish to and that provides us JA and company to do what they need to instead of worrying about the cap space.
  14. Holy cow who is this guy. Are we sure that he is an NFL player because he sure doesn't sound like one to me.
  15. Hey DrunkBomber. I will be in this year. I might do the pay league depending on the amount. My email is bowlingwestgary1980@yahoo.com. If you have any questions just let me know.
  16. He was on NFL Live last night they 2 of them were debating the move. Dungy said it was a risk and the other(name escapes me) said that he agrees that it may have been a risk due to how much we gave up but deemed it a necessary move because of how long we have been fighting for just a mediocre QB for SO long.

  18. I am with you chitown. Its going to be really tough to make it through the next 57 days or so.
  19. Urlacher was also signing autographs at the Bears Fan Expo. BTW the last time I checked the Cubs still have a better record than "the team on the other side of town"
  20. I doesn't bother me one bit. If I was Cutler I probably also would blow off Autographs. Some of these fans make it seem like Cutler has to sign these. Its his option to sign or not. I was at the Bears Expo and I can tell you that he did sign Autographs there in a line but even after the Q & A session he stayed after for a few minutes to sign. It sucks that athletes can not go out and enjoy a night out on the town or even take in a local sporting event without being hounded.
  21. How about another player that I think could finally excel. I know this is going WAY out there and if he excels I can guarantee we will win a lot. How about Dusty Dvoracek.
  22. That is completely BS, hopefully the suspensions stand.
  23. Thats the unfortunate thing for us is that its not up to Boldin really.
  24. I agree by just using Pisa. I am wondering though with the wonderful off season that we have had so far if its maybe a pre cursor to try and still get something done with Boldin. I am wondering because we have alot of very talented LB's which Arizona could use. I know we don't have a 1st rounder anymore but what about a couple of draft picks and a player or 2. Maybe Hunter? I don't know, just throwing it out there.
  25. My lord have we been busy today. We have have signed Pisa, extended Isreal and signed 7 of our 9 draft picks. And it isn't even June yet. Man will July even get here.
