Alright guys I have 2 fantasy drafts today and here is a breakdown of my 1st league. Keep in mind all TD's are 6pts and this league is NOT Points per reception and no flex. 1. Larry Fitzgerald 2. LaDainian Tomlison 3. Dwayne Bowe 4. Ronnie Bowe 5. Donovan McNabb 6. Greg Olsen 7. Willie Parker 8. Devin Hester 9. Beanie Wells 10.Chicago Bears D 11.Steve Breaston 12.Robbie Gould 13.Josh Morgan 14.Jamarcus Russell(due to the better matchup. other QB's available were getting tough defenses)
  4. I agree, we can't go out next week and look bad also.
  5. And how many of us honestly expected Cutler to go out there without Forte and Olsen and look great. He should have done better however if thats his bad game it still blows Orton/Rex out of the water doesn't it.
  6. I have no problems with the statement. At least Cutler knows what type of receiver Hester is in the short period that they have been together. He also points out that THEY need to work on it. Nothing about throwing anyone under the bus. I think the media is trying to make a mountain out of a ant hill once again. Its almost like they want us to fail.

Damn, I must have been drinking again lol.
  8. 1 of the passess that Basenaz threw to left was in the same area code at least to Rideau but unfortunately still not catchable. The same thing with D.A. He played quite a bit but he did struggle to get open and he was mainly playing with the 1's.

There was actually quite a few plays when Gilbert was double teamed and was still able to bring down the tackler. I showed alot of muscle yesterday.

My biggest problem that I have seen while watching the game so far is that I haven't seen our CB's play near the line of scrimmage yet. Every time I look they are between 6-10 yards off. That is why Fitzgerald is even looking good.
  11. Your right about Edwards. How can we let him go 10-10. The D overall played pretty well and I am really starting to like Al Afalava. He seems to always be in the right area. And of course as I am typing this he comes up with a fumble recovery.

Thats true, I have heard alot of this as well. Well, if they are much better with him, why did they boo him during family night after throwing 2 picks. Now he throws 3 picks in the first 3 series's. Good luck.
  14. I am mainly just pointing out that although all of us agree that none of these should be given a second. I am saying that because everyone else has been given at least a 2nd chance we should at least give Vick and Stallworth a 2nd chance as well. I was comparing the 2 only in the since that Stallworth serves only 30 days in jail for driving drunk and killing a man. I do love the fact that Stallworth at least called the authorities without running away like so many others do these days. I don't care for any of these gentlemen however I would like to see them actually grow up and start acting like men and proving to us and to the NFL, the players and the coaches that they got there 2nd chance and they proved why. Here's hoping they don't take it for granted.
  15. #8 can be answered if TO plays. He certainly knows how to kill us.

I would prefer not to get pissed off thinking about that.
  17. i own 3 of his jerseys lol.

Wouldn't McDaniels look really bad if he did that. Remember he has already named Orton the opening day starter lol.
  19. That makes since as the area code 985 belongs to southeason Louisiana.
  20. I can not stand Michael Vick, but the NFL had to at least give a shot because everyone else has been given at least a second chance. My major point is Adam Jones. How many chances did the NFL give him. I am a huge pet lover as we have 1 dog and 3 cats to go along with a bunny and several but compare him to Donte Stallworth. People say that Vick got off with a slap on the wrist with a 23 month sentence or whatever it was for his actions. Stallworth gets 30 days jail time for driving drunk and killing an innocent man who just got off work. At least Vick didn't kill another human being. I bet if 1 of us drives drunk and kills a human being we are looking at closer to 30 years jail instead of 30 days. Goodell said in his letter to Stallworth that his reason for suspending him the entire season without pay had nothing to do with the slap on the wrist that he got but IMO opinion I am glad that he is gone for at least a year. I would much rather lose one of my pets, who I consider family instead of my son or my wife.
  21. I agree except in the NFC W. I will still take Arizona however they will have a disappointment of a year this year.
  22. It will be interested to see how they list him on the Depth Chart as well. If they plan to use him they won't be able to put him as the 3rd QB. Maybe RB or WR.
  23. Steelers 13-3. I just don't see it. I agree with the 1st set of predictions of them going 11-5. I watched the Steelers game last night and it was almost a repeat of last year. Max Starks there LT, was constantly getting beat to the outside. No special moves or anything, it was just simply speed. If there line does not improve going into the regular season, I am not sure if Big Ben will be able to stay healthy. I could see a huge let down mainly because of that Oline. The Oline was pretty bad run blocking as well.

Just heard by Chris Mortenson during the Steelers game that Micheal Vick just signed a 2 year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. What do think is going through the mind of Donovan McNabb? http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4397938
  25. Also for the record, it isn't like this was a spur of the moment thing here. Michael Vick has been working with the US Humane Society ever since he got locked and has showed up to all events that he has been able to since he has been released. There was even 1 time while he was locked up that was given permission to attend the event and help out where he can.
