That was an amazing throw by Cutler and I don't know what Hester did to get that wide open but I loved seeing it.

This offense could be scary for teams to matchup up against. Forte is an elite RB who has great hands out of the backfield. Alot of speed at WR and some are starting to show hands. i.e. D.A. Not many LB's can cover either of our TE's.

There was at least 2 that I am referring to but yeah I was to upset with that one there because Jacobs is such a big and powerful back.

Urlacher is doing a great job of getting to the ball carrier but he needs to start wrapping up instead of just bouncing off of the opponent.

I just love the fact that the coaches loved this kid enough to start him immediately with the 1's. This kid is a 6th round draft pick. Not many 6th round picks start right away. I think this says enough about his work ethic.
  7. I find it funny when I read an article on ESPN.com and they said "this was a succesful game for Favre." The only way the game was a success was that he wasn't injured. His throws were really bad and even the completion was thrown at the carpet just 4 yards in front making Harvin go down for it. Then they went on to say "meaningless Exhibition game." So the game for Favre was a meaningless Exhibition game but yet after the Bears game last week the same experts were ready to throw Cutler and Hester under the bus. I completely love the double standards.
  8. Lets also keep in mind that the "go-to guy" isn't going to emerge in preseason. They will need to step and show the coaches they can play 1st of all in the pre season.
  9. We struggled last year against them because of our inability to throw the ball. We were hoping to run the ball to open the passing game. This year we have a QB who can and will take advantage of teams defenses.
  10. I am not scared either. Favre has made a career out of checking down to the RB's and now he goes to a team where the RB can't catch. Also his teams have always been about throwing the ball first to open up the running game, except this year where the Vikings are a run 1st team. If they change there identity and pass first you will see a very pissed off AP cuz he has always been the feature of the offense.

The problem that I have is that we would bring him in to mentor the younger guys. In Indy he was a very quite guy and kept to himself.

That is true but only in a PPR league.
  13. Favre crys more than my 2 year old son.
  14. Isn't that the truth
  15. I hope Favre realizes the only reason he has a job right now is because of how desperate Minny is. Childress had better hope that he will get them deep into the playoffs otherwise he will be looking for a new job as well.
  16. no kidding. people complained last year that he didn't build any relationship with his teammates last year and he was with them for the preseason games. I guess you can forget about any relationship this year as well.
  17. I am not shocked one bit. I would be shocked if anyone is surprised by this.
  18. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4406963 I have now lost all respect that I had for him. I hope he gets killed during a game.

I would put him 3rd behind Maurice Jones-Drew. He will be utilized more than Forte especially if the league you are talking about is a PPR league. Drew will get a ton of catches. Early projections have him getting around 1200 yards just like Forte but Drew getting about 400 yards receiving and catching about 60-65 balls. For Forte they have around 300-350 yards and 55 catches.
  20. Probably had a few autopicks. Most rankings I see have Forte in the top 4 but have Manning going in the 2nd round. The only QB most rankings even having going in the 1st is Drew Brees.
  21. Good, I think you reached for Crabtree. In both of my leagues he has gone undrafted. I can see the pick though.
  22. Thats what I was thinking. They do have a QB who likes to throw deep and they DHB who can fly. That should at least stretch the D. Just hoping the Oline can help out a little.
  23. Ok I just finished with my 2nd of the day. This one is just like the other one except its deeper and I start only 2 WR's instead of 3 but this one has a flex. I drafted 10 out of 10. 1. Larry Fitzgerald 2. Andre Johnson 3. Ronnie Brown 4. Aaron Rodgers 5. Willie Parker 6. Darren McFadden 7. Greg Olsen 8. Lee Evans 9. Earnest Graham 10. Donald Driver 11. Bears D 12. Devin Hester 13. Matt Hasselbeck 14. Dustin Keller 15. Robbie Gould 16. Muhsin Muhammad
  24. Opps, that was supposed to be Ronnie Brown.
  25. I was drafting 10th out of 12.
