Looking at how the board fell it was either Wright and then Dexter or Carter and either Wanya Morris, Tyler Steen, or Blake Freeland at RT.- Current Roster
Adam can probably update this his fancy way, but I'm penciling in the following for the roster: QB: Fields, Walker RB: Herbert, Foreman, Johnson, Homer FB: Blasingame WR: Moore, Mooney, Claypool, Jones, Scott, St. Brown TE: Kmet, Tonyan, Allen C : Patrick, Whitehair, Kramer OG - Davis, Jenkins, Carter OT: Jones, Wright, Borom, Leatherwood DE: Green, Walker, Gipson, Robinson DT: Billings, Jones, Dexter, Pickens LB: Edmunds, Edwards, Sanborn, Sewell, Weatherford CB: Johnson, Gordon, Stevenson, Blackwell, Vildor, Smith S: Jackson, Brisker, Hicks, Williamson P: Gill K: Santos LS: Scales Besides the obvious need for a starting DE, I could see us being in the market for a better third safety (unless they see Terell Smith helping there) and maybe some OL depth.- UDFAs
I don't know most of these guys, but Badget is interesting as he was probably the best undrafted QB this year. He'll only need to beat out Peterman to maybe make the practice squad. I hope they give him the chance.- NFL Draft Day 3 Thread
Wondering if it’s a situation where the Bears aren’t addressing it late because they don’t have a guy they love, but they know that by not addressing it it makes their situation more attractive to UDFAs. Still I’d love to see them take a chance on Andre Carter and let the Army guy hear his name called.- NFL Draft Day 3 Thread
First Bears draft pick I’ve never heard of before. That’s an improvement over some previous years. Seems like a PS guy.- NFL Draft Day 3 Thread
I thought Trice might have been the better fit, but I’m good with Smith.- Players the Bears are meeting with (Updated)
Brandon Joseph would make some sense as well.- NFL Draft Day 3 Thread
At this point I’d take a flier on Andre Carter. Probably the highest upside of the edges left.- Players the Bears are meeting with (Updated)
Tyler Scott another guy from the list.- NFL Draft Day 3 Thread
Sounds like he’s a great dude too. Does all the little things, leader in the locker room, will play special teams.- NFL Draft Day 3 Thread

I’m the trade down boat, but some intriguing guys on the board for sure.- NFL Draft Day 2 thread
I say trade down - the offers should be good and I don’t see a guy on the board I just have to have. If you force me to choose, give me Isaiah McGuire, Luke Wypler, or AT Perry.- Players the Bears are meeting with (Updated)
Worth noting that all the Bears’ picks so far have come from this list. Guys who are left: Adetomiwa Adebawore DT Northwestern Dylan Horton DE TCU KJ Henry DE Clemson Deslin Alexandre DL Pittsburgh Dawand Jones OT Ohio State Jaelyn Duncan OT Maryland Jordan McFadden OT Clemson Tyler Beach OL Wisconsin Dontayvion Wicks WR Virginia Xavier Hutchinson WR Iowa State Tyler Scott WR Cincinnati Payne Durham TE Purdue Brandon Joseph S Notre Dame- NFL Draft Day 2 thread
Obviously it’s a round earlier for both, but I’m getting flashback to the year they took Tommie Harris and Tank Johnson.- 2023 NFL Free Agency Open Thread (Pinned)
I don’t know where the sacks are going to come from on this team.- 2023 NFL Free Agency Open Thread (Pinned)
Based on the edge guys left in the draft, I hope Poles dials up Yannick Ngakoue.- NFL Draft Day 2 thread
Another DT - Zacch Pickens. Like him a lot. He’s more the 3T than Dexter IMO. You have your interior DL of the future. Not sure where the edge sacks are going yo come from, but I’ll take it.- NFL Draft Day 2 thread
Watch the Bears use their 3rd round pick on Byron Young from Tennessee, who is 25 - just like Velus Jones last year.- NFL Draft Day 2 thread
The cupboard got bare at DE in a hurry.- NFL Draft Day 2 thread
Tyrique Stevenson. Prototype press corner. Nice pick.- NFL Draft Day 2 thread
Feels like a need pick which Poles said he wouldn’t do day 2. Also doesn’t play like a 3T. But he’ll help inside for sure.- NFL Draft Day 2 thread
Looking at the pick value chart, it would have to be something like 32 + 80 for 53, 61, and 103, unless future picks are involved. I think it’s more likely they have a group of players they like and maybe they move up ten or so sports using the 4th they got from the Eagles trade to move up once it looks like those numbers are dwindling.- NFL Draft Day 2 thread
