Looking at how the board fell it was either Wright and then Dexter or Carter and either Wanya Morris, Tyler Steen, or Blake Freeland at RT.

I don't know most of these guys, but Badget is interesting as he was probably the best undrafted QB this year. He'll only need to beat out Peterman to maybe make the practice squad. I hope they give him the chance.

Wondering if it’s a situation where the Bears aren’t addressing it late because they don’t have a guy they love, but they know that by not addressing it it makes their situation more attractive to UDFAs. Still I’d love to see them take a chance on Andre Carter and let the Army guy hear his name called.

First Bears draft pick I’ve never heard of before. That’s an improvement over some previous years. Seems like a PS guy.

I thought Trice might have been the better fit, but I’m good with Smith.

Brandon Joseph would make some sense as well.

At this point I’d take a flier on Andre Carter. Probably the highest upside of the edges left.

Sounds like he’s a great dude too. Does all the little things, leader in the locker room, will play special teams.

I say trade down - the offers should be good and I don’t see a guy on the board I just have to have. If you force me to choose, give me Isaiah McGuire, Luke Wypler, or AT Perry.

Another DT - Zacch Pickens. Like him a lot. He’s more the 3T than Dexter IMO. You have your interior DL of the future. Not sure where the edge sacks are going yo come from, but I’ll take it.

Watch the Bears use their 3rd round pick on Byron Young from Tennessee, who is 25 - just like Velus Jones last year.

Feels like a need pick which Poles said he wouldn’t do day 2. Also doesn’t play like a 3T. But he’ll help inside for sure.

Looking at the pick value chart, it would have to be something like 32 + 80 for 53, 61, and 103, unless future picks are involved. I think it’s more likely they have a group of players they like and maybe they move up ten or so sports using the 4th they got from the Eagles trade to move up once it looks like those numbers are dwindling.
