Nice play by him. I'm always happy to see a old Bear do something good. I always liked him and glad Rivera didn't forget about him when he needed help. Torn in this game between Orton and them.

I think more often and not there isn't any holes and it's messed with his head. Like he's getting stuck in a one track mind of thinking their won't be one even when there is one rarely open.

If I was Lovie, I'd activate Lance Louis and I would sit the whole Offensive line for the first series against the Bengals. Lance Louis, Beekman, Mannely, Anthony Adams or some one else, Schaffer starts the game. Send a message to the OL that this won't be accepted.

I don't think we will find them in the 3rd round or later.

Worst I've seen Toub's boys play this year

He's fumbled 4 times in 480 carries. No way he need out. The line is horrible and i dont think Wolfe would hold onto the ball no better. It cost us 3. No one is yellin for Cutler to be pulled. This stuff happens. The offense is averaging 2 yards a carry in the first quarter, cuz of the line.

Johnny Knox is a TD machine

The O Line is in such despair right not that l guess that giving up a second round pick is too much for me when there are more demanding needs on the team.

Edit: I just read it was a second round pick. I hate the trade. I understand the faith in Marenelli but this leaves the bears with the 3rd round being their highest pick 2 years in a row in the draft. I liked it when I thought it had to be a 4th or lower pick. I hae it in the second. Top 5 pic with a coach that could bring ot his talent sounds nice. That contract and will take a while to bring him around if its possible is not so positive tho. I hate the gamble.

Wasn't like Vasher and Orton's stock down too because of injuries. Then again they weren't super early picks. I just hated to see a discussion about injuries and Williams being left out. Drafting a guy knowing he's injured at the time in the first round and then him missing his first year. Baffled the heck out of me last year. Especially the kinda injury for his position. At least he's back this year playing and hasn't missed time that i can think of over it.

Wouldn't Moore be 09, with the first rounder in 08 being a confusing injury pick of sorts?

Jay may make them Eddie Royal and well Eddie Royal. No one on this team is going to be Brandon Marshall. They don't have the size in height or thickness to outleap players and break the tackles. Marshall is 6'4 230 pounds. Owens is 6'3 and 225. He had 13, 15 and 10 TD seasons respectively the last 3. He brings an element that this team doesn't have in the WR copse lacks. That said, with the line in it's current state, I think it's a waste of a draft pick bringing him in. I think this team is more set up to be a contender next year and the following years, than playmaker away on O to win. Jay has to rush his passes and a consistent runniing game hasn't been established this year.

If the line was better, I'd do it this year. It wouldn't be worth gambling the pic for a one year super bowl run with him if not.

Bradley looked good with Thigpen last year. Wade has been serviceable to start at other teams he goes too. Gage has looked good with Kerry Collins and so on. I think it's more of a slight on Turner, then Drake or the QB's. Bradley had an instant impact in KC last year.

Was it as bad here as you see on other sites? There seems to be more smart posters here then you'll see other places. It's the main reason I only post here when I post. I was a little sour on the trade because I was so excited to see the Bears finally develop their own QB. I'm really happy with the trade now. Between Cutler and Knox, we got a pretty darn good deal in my opinion. I'm really happy with Orton's success so far. Bronco's have been my 3rd team I've been rooting for this year. Once big Mike took over in San Fran I've been wanting to see them win and the Bronco's because of Orton. Most important thing to me, Bears are 3-1 going into next week with an explosive offense.
