Post mortem
Well now I know what MadLith needs for Christmas; more Lagavulin!! LOL In all the years I've known you I don't think you've ever been so frank and candid, usually more "glass half-full" type guy...as you've professed for years. But I feel your pain and totally get it. This is a mess top to bottom. Sad it won't be fixed anytime soon I'm afraid.

Post mortem
So now that the season is prematurely over, what next? There were two moments in last nights game that made me go ?!?!. One was the declined penalty for ‘running into the kicker’ against LA. And the shit Nagy pulled late in the game when he pulled Trubiksy. Was he injured like you claim he was or ???? If in fact he was injured as you claim, and he ‘wasn’t right’ throughout the game; why then? And to put Miller in that situation ... just all around pathetic. To be a Bears fan is tough enough but to have to air the mess that is our current team on national TV is purely disgraceful.

Bears at Rams Week 11 - Bad QB Bowl Official Game Thread (Sun, Nov 17, 7:20 PM CT/NBC/Bears +6.5, O/U 41.5)
I can’t recall exactly where or when it was but sometime during the middle of the game (may have been when he tipped it up) as he was walking off the field he turned around to ‘chat’ with someone and gesturing in some bizarre way. It was apparent that by his reaction that he was simply trash talking after screwing up. Not unlike his antics from a few weeks ago that got him a 15 yard penalty. Generally speaking he’s been lackluster at best and based on some of his theatrics I get the feeling he thinks he’s more like OBJ. This was a second round pick (that Pace maneuvered for) not giving our team much in return.

He was tied for second with # of receptions and second with total yards. Gabriel led In both categories. One game does not a season make. Miller’s ‘body of work’ is lacking unless you call shit-talking positive progress.

Ok, Miller can go. Done with him.

Let’s see... defense has come to play. The bears have three(?) turnovers and NO score...at all? And our kicker...has done nothing...except miss...twice.

So as far as kicking games go we’re right back where we were last year. And for the record, I like the hurry up offense. Mitchell does better in that...oddly enough.

Kerrith Whyte claimed of PS by Steelers
Problem is, I’m going to be willing to bet that Whyte could’ve been had as an UDFA. So it feels like a loss because it was a draft pick; although lower but still a pick. Had it been isolated that would be one thing BUT when you measure it against other picks Pace has engineered; Trubiksy, Shaheen, DHC, White, Fabuluge, Morgan ... (take a look at the link below) then that’s when I have my doubts. https://www.google.com/amp/s/bearswire.usatoday.com/gallery/chicago-bears-ryan-pace-nfl-draft-ranking-picks/amp/

Early Games
We NEED Chicago to win but yeah, would be nice if the other teams you listed in the NFC would ‘help’ the Bears out. They put themselves into this hole, they should be able to get themselves out. I’m still not seeing how Mitch is ‘mistreated’ by the media. Most of all the flub ups he’s had are of his own doing to include his overall lack of production. There’s been a case made several times over how well Hopkins makes Watson look good. But theoretically the same case could be made about Robinson’s ability to make mediocre QBs look better than they are; the dude is clutch...plain and simple. The difference between Watson and Trubiksy is when they have to throw or go elsewhere from their ‘clutch’ receivers. Statistically speaking (I assume) whether it be throwing or running, that’s where Watson comes ahead.

Kerrith Whyte claimed of PS by Steelers
One more conviction against Pace and his maneuvering of positions, picks and needs.

Kerrith Whyte claimed of PS by Steelers
Meh...he was a Pace draftee so ... good luck Kerrith. I have a feeling Nall will get some serious usage tonight and forget all about him.

Myles Garrett Whack a Mole
Agree entirely. The nitwit was trying to rip off the mans helmet, only because he is much slighter than Garrett was he unsuccessful. I get Rudolph’s feeling about getting what thought continued and late contact but you have Be smarter and not make matters worse. Take a page out of Rodgers’ book and just lay there and flop around a bit, you can be sure a flag will come your way.

If the Bears suddenly start playing better and continue to win, some of the changes prior to that won’t make sense. Those being the loss of Hicks (IR), Long (IR) and Trevathan (probably IR). Davis (waived), Shaheen (week to week to week to week) and Burton (see above). And for this week maybe Montgomery. In the stead of most of these guys are players they're bringing up from the practice squad or backup positions; Kwitkowski, Braunecker, Nall, Horstead, Coward and Williams. No one of significance has been traded for or signed from FA status. The team’s improvement will be largely based on the organic development of players like Williams, Kwitkowski and Coward. But the question remains, will they improve?

Not sure if it’s been picked up elsewhere but I was looking for info on Trevathan (they still haven’t determined whether he’ll be IRed or not). But I saw that Montgomery is nursing an ankle injury. Crap. So may be that means more of Nall this week? Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. https://www.google.com/amp/s/chicago.suntimes.com/platform/amp/bears/2019/11/13/20963898/bears-injury-report-david-montgomery-danny-trevathan-trey-burton-isaiah-irving-rams-wednesday

Cam Newton will accept trade to only one team
Problem is, those “one or two overthrown passes’ happen within a single series resulting in a three and out. But I digress... I agree not only is he too unsteady, he’s too costly.

Calling Jackson, Mack, and Floyd
Yeah he’s just having an off year for whatever reason. I wasn’t a big fan of Fullers a few years back until he suddenly came into his own. He was lights out his contract year (hmm amazing how that happens) then pretty solid since then. I’d say Jackson just needs time; he’ll come back round.

Whitehair back at Center
I’m with you. But I wonder if he’s not trying to conjure up the mojo from last year and see if the team will positively build odd that energy. Still, being a guy who appreciates words like ‘despicable’ to describe last weeks’ win I have a hard time understanding that way of motivation. It’s like seeing when a guy makes a catch short of the first down celebrate the fact he caught the pass like he won the super bowl. I just don’t get it.

Advance Scouting Rams
Hmm... there was this guy on our team not all that long ago that did pretty darn good in the run department. Didn't fit the offensive scheme that Nagy had, they said. Didn't know how to catch, they said. What was his name? (Yes I'm 'crying over spilled milk').

Cam Newton will accept trade to only one team
I think I'm with you. Without injury he's too melodramatic for my liking when things don't go his way. With his injury; what I hear is a Lifsanc Strain, I'm hesitant since there isn't much (positive or negative) in the way of long term prognosis of someone coming back from this type injury. And for a guy who's major attribute is mobility...that could be a problem. All that being said; great athlete and great team player...when he's happy and winning.
