So do we now have the best starting trio in the NFL?
-
Our first two games (Packers & Steelers) are 3-4 teams so we need to get this done right to have a chance to win both of those games
-
it might be Roach, i think he was hurt or something like that

Roster moves: The Bears on Tuesday signed linebacker Darrell McClover and waived/injured guard Tyler Reed (knee) and tight end Fontel Mines (knee). McClover appeared in 22 games over the past three seasons with the Bears, registering 36 special teams tackles and two blocked punts. He recorded 14 stops while playing in the first 10 games last year before sustaining a season-ending hamstring injury. Reed joined the Bears in 2006 as a sixth-round pick and spent the past three seasons on the practice squad. Mines arrived as an undrafted free agent in 2007 and spent most of his two seasons with the Bears on the practice squad

Denver is going to be 7-9 with Orton at the QB spot, he can't get out of the pocket, can't throw deep, arm strength isn't that great....thats' why he could beat out Grossman until Rex got to bad for the coaches liking, this is why we got rid of him in a hurry
-
yes, but you know if you are going to tackle someone bigger than you, you have to hit and wrap up and hold on!!! LOL
-
This is a good sign for a 12-4 season!!!
-
Well he had better be playing for the right reason to win not money.
-
LOL about Ulacher he now knows you can't tackle a load like Jacobs with the high school/college try.Man up and wrap up.
-
He was thinking wow I gave up fishing and throwing to the high school kids for 12 million to get my azz handed to me? I should have stayed retired!!
-
We already have that go to guy and his name is Olsen and back up Hester. As you can see in the first per-season game how many times Hester was thrown the ball.

Bears | Omiyale appears to have won starting job Comment (0) Wed, 19 Aug 2009 11:21:10 -0700 Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports even though the Chicago Bears have not made an announcement, it appears OG Frank Omiyale has won the starting left guard spot. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bears | Dungy would encourage team to sign Harrison if needed Comment (0) Wed, 19 Aug 2009 11:16:54 -0700 ESPNChicago.com reports former NFL head coach Tony Dungy said during a radio interview that he would encourage Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith to sign unrestricted free-agent WR Marvin Harrison (Colts) if the team needed another receiver. "I think he definitely can play, and I would encourage Lovie to sign him if they had an opening," Dungy said.

The two NFC North clashes between the Bears and Vikings Nov. 29 in Minnesota and Dec. 28 on Monday Night Football in Chicago are suddenly a whole lot more intriguing. “Anytime you play against him, the ticket requests go up,” Ogunleye said. “All of your friends want to come and watch the game. He’s just that kind of guy. When I have my own kids, I’m going to say that I played against Brett Favre.” Favre owns NFL career records with 5,720 completions, 9,280 attempts, 65,127 yards and 310 interceptions. The 39-year-old also owns the league mark for most consecutive games started by a quarterback with 269. Favre dominated the Bears for a decade before Lovie Smith arrived, leading the Packers to 18 wins in 20 meetings from 1994-2003. The tide turned, however, with the Bears winning six of eight games from 2004-2007. Favre threw at least one touchdown pass in his first 26 games against the Bears before being kept out of the end zone in three straight contests beginning in 2005, when Chicago swept the season series from Green Bay for the first time since 1991, the year before Favre joined the Packers. In his last six games against the Bears as a member of the Packers, Favre threw just 2 TD passes and 13 interceptions, three of which were returned for scores by Urlacher, Lance Briggs and Nate Vasher. In other words, Favre threw more TDs to the Bears than the Packers in that span.

Devin is more of a go-get it guy, he is not really a back shoulder or jump up and get it [guy],'' Cutler said. I think that is a true statement and see nothing wrong with it. Devin is the type of WR you throw it so he can run under it as for him trying to be a jumper like larry Fitizgerald.
-
Josh Beekman played in the game
-
Yes I understand that too and I bet If the rookies can catch and Cutler likes them then he will be all for him makin the team.
-
As for Vick you have to look at what we have now. Cutler is the one and Vick would be the two. We can give him a chance and keep him for a year or two then trade him to someone else. This wouls keep him from going to Green Bay or the Vikings. Now Vick is not the greatest QB but he can do some things that could help us win a championship
-
That's fine with me. I would want to say who I throw the ball to also because it give you that bond knowing who you are going to throw to will catch the ball and not being fore feed someone you don't trust

The Chicago Bears signed long snapper J.J. Milan to a contract on Tuesday. Milan signed with the Oakland Raiders in 2007 as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Nevada. The Indianapolis Colts claimed him off waivers in August, 2007. The Colts waived the 6-5, 265-pounder last year.
