  1. Word out in the street is that he might want to play for the Cowboys! Rex to TO???
  2. I hope he goes to the AFC. Because given the right coaching and player he can light it up. Because I dont want to hear we should have kept him for guys next year
  3. Now that he's going to get paid it sound like a bomb waiting to go off!

    Who at # 18

With lets say Smith OT gone at #2, Monroe OT gone at #4,Smith OT gone at#6, Crabtree WR gone at #7, Oher OT gone at #10 with Sanches QB, V.Davis CB, R.Maualuga LB, Stafford QB,E.Brown DE what WR do you pick in the first? Maclin,Harvrin.Hayward-Bey or Britt?
  5. I want neither one of them for the first two rounds we have stronger needs than a DE right now like WR OT FS
  6. The problem is do we sign St. Clair at RT then we need another swing OT who do we get one from FA or the draft. But at what spot in the draft #1 pick? We need a WR and a FS but same process and which rounds do you get them? These three positions are a must for the Bears. DE yes but not pressing just yet, SLB yet but not pressing, and RG. We should have alot of head sratching going on shortly folks.
  7. Yes if the Vikes pull of this trade then they are dumd and dumber. Of all the QB they could get they get rosey from Houston...makes no sence to me......then again neither do the Bears when it comes to the QB
  8. I really don't think he will fall out of the first round, he still has his pro day to make up for what he didn't do at the combine, but he has lost about 28 million just by his actions of leaving and not working out
  9. IMHO I would look at Dahl from the Falcons, Britt from the Patriots and Willis from the Seahawks to help out our line.

  11. I was thinking the same thing that we should look at him or Harvey Dahand or Tyson Clabo from the Falcons
  12. IMHO you have to look at our roster when we think about WR. We have two speed guys already in Devin Hester and Devin Aromashodu. Granted we don't know what the other Devin can do yet but he's a 4.3 guy at 6'2 202 sort of like DHB from Maryland. Then you have to see if Rideau can step up if we lose Llyod . I think Davis or Bennett needs to step up too even though we might cut Davis. If we could aquire Harrison from the Colts and draft DHB we would be set at WR
  13. Beauman???? I think you are trying to say Bowman right?
  14. NFL | R. Johnson has met with several teams Mon, 23 Feb 2009 03:25:48 -0800 During his press conference at the NFL Scouting Combine Sunday, Feb. 22, Alabama S Rashad Johnson measured a height of 5-foot-11 and a weight of 203 pounds. He said he had talked with the Atlanta Falcons, the Chicago Bears, the San Diego Chargers, the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals so far.
  15. IMHO Wilson beats what we have now at saftey
  16. They had better do something...can you see Tait and St. Clair leaving?
  17. You can read this article and many other at Bearsbacker.com THE blog for any Chicago Bears Fan. Tank Johnson Returning to the Bears? Is it possible that Tank Johnson could play for the Chicago Bears again? I don't know. It's defiantly a long shot. The Bears drafted Johnson in the 2nd round of the 2004 NFL Draft. In three years (2004-2006) with the Bears, Tank Johnson played in 46 games, recorded 63 tackles and nine sacks. The Bears released him after he found himself in trouble with the law too often. In two years (2007-2008) with the Cowboys, Tank played in only 24 games and recorded 33 tackles and 3 sacks. The Bears could make this move, just because defensive tackles Tommie Harris and Dusty Dvoraceck have been disappointing the last couple of seasons. The other defensive tackles on the Bears' roster are Anthony Adams, Marcus Harrison and Matt Toeina. This probably won't happen, but it's a possibility. The Bears could probably get him cheap. The teams that I see signing Tank Johnson would be the Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos, or the St. Louis Rams.
  18. IMHO for me in the first round it would be either Michael Oher OT or Heyward-Bey WR
  19. IMHO I would rather draft the right players and get lower priced FA than to blow the wad on one player and not address all the needs we have.If you can get three good players for the price of one great player you have a better deal and team.
  20. This is why the Raiders are 4-12 every year they pay too much for guys at the wrong positions. Milloin dollar CB, QB, RB, DT no Oline men or WR,LB and then you draft the wrong type of guys. Best player out there instead of what you need to win.
  21. INHO things here about Vick are out of control. Yes he made a mistake but that can be overcome. He would bring much talent to our team if he stays out of trouble. This is just me....I think he will come out and be a beast, because he would have thee understanding this is his last chance, and he will try to prove all you guys wrong about him not being a QB. I would pass on Pacman....enough said. But line Vick up in the wildcat with Hester, Wolfe and Forte DAMN!!!! Now to the second point what he did I'm not in favor of but is it so different than bullfighting, bull riding, oh and not to mention HUNTING SEASON with all the deer, Moose, Bear, duck, fish and anything else hunters shoot to hang on their walls for fun? Dog fighting, cock fighting, and over here the guys are catching scorpions anf putting the in matches with each other and camel spiders and I'm sure they do worse in other countries,So this is a problem not just with Vick but the world as a whole. So if Vick gives us a chance to pick up first downs with his running then so be it.
  22. Colts | Harrison to be let go soon Wed, 18 Feb 2009 18:11:29 -0800 Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports the Indianapolis Colts are expected to let WR Marvin Harrison go soon. Releasing Harrison would free up $7 million in salary cap space.
  23. IMHO Orton cant throw the ball deep. He has overthrow Hester on some deep balls but most of the time he under throws him so hester get the pass interference calls.
  24. IMHO I was thinking we only need him to run a couple of routes.....5 yard slant 10 yard slant and the deep go route. LOL
  25. Why are we wanting to keep Hamilton again, I understand Roach but Hamilton? Bears | Roach, Hamilton expected to receive offers Mon, 16 Feb 2009 22:53:19 -0800 Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Chicago Bears LB Nick Roach and CB Marcus Hamilton are expected to receive offers to remain with the team. Both players are exclusive rights free agents. To all my fellow fans who wanted Tillman to move to safety well looks like it's not going to happen. Bears | Tillman to stay at cornerback Mon, 16 Feb 2009 22:52:42 -0800 Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Chicago Bears CB Charles Tillman will remain at cornerback. There had been rumors Tillman could move to free safety in 2009. Well it looks like Gross maybe costing too much for us to sign. Panthers | Closer to signing Gross long-term Mon, 16 Feb 2009 20:54:37 -0800 Steve Reed, of CarolinaGrowl.com, reports there is renewed optimism the Carolina Panthers will be able to sign OT Jordan Gross to a long-term deal, according to a league source. Sources close to the situation confirmed there is hope the two sides will agree to a contract before Thursday, Feb. 19, before the deadline for teams to announce they are using their franchise tag. Agent Ethan Lock said "significant progress" was made in talks, but that it would take about $9 million per season to keep Gross, according to the NFL Network's Adam Schefter.
