  1. These are the guys that will be in the next wave of cuts IMHO. Who do you think it will be? Edwards Turner Roland Robertson Pegues Lynch Long Lattimore Franklin Bellamy
  2. Wilson and Williams were on the team already....but i can go with you on Young,Allen and Houston. But look at this for a moment. You let Hester go...so now you have questions at PR/KR so you bring in Hixson(cut) Weems (on the team= cut) Ford (cut) Spurlock, Edwards,Reynaud, Williams(on the team) and even Holmes(caught a few at practice)....so you don't know who its going to be. At least with Hester you knew what he can do....and you had the advantage that other teams knew also ...to kick away from him... which allows us to win in the field position battle. IMHO we should have kept him. Just hope he doesn't light us up when we play them.
  3. No i think we just needed to use him in the right way.
  4. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlig...rd-TD-reception http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2014082307/2...&tab=videos
  5. Also cut were Peyton Thmspson, Derricus Purdy, Michael Ford, Kofi Hughes ,Greg Herd and Dylan Gandy
  6. Since we signed Holmes who do we keep as WR this year? Marshall/Jeffery are a given..but do we keep Holmes, Morgan Williams and hold a spot for Wilson? Then you have Bellamy,Edwards,Herd,Hughes,Moss,Spurlock to round out the WR core. Me IMHO i would go with Marshall/Jeffery,Holmes, Morgan, Williams and Wilson.
  7. Tress Way and Chad Rempel were waived and Darius Reynaud and CB Thompson were signed. So this means that O'Donnell is our new punter and Hartson is the new long snapper unless we bring in someone else. Reynaud is going to be in a battle with Williams, Edwards,Ford,Spurlock and maybe even Holmes for the PR/KR job.But i think Edwards,Ford,Spurlock will be cut. Thompson being brought in is a head shaker IMHO...why do we need him???
  8. well it cant hurt......... Holmes immediately gets a genuine look at the No. 3 wide receiver position. But he does not project to solve the Bears’ problems in the return game, perhaps an indication that they expect the return of Chris Williams from his hamstring strain sooner rather than later. Holmes has not returned a kickoff since his rookie season (2006) and hasn’t returned a punt since 2012, and then only six combined over 2009-10.Your facts are a little off...we don't need him as a full timer returner.
  9. This maybe a great pick up if he is hungry and has his head on right. Not only can he be a good #3 WR....but he can return punts/kick too if we we give him a chance.
  10. You dont have to worry about hitting the scoreboard. ....because we play the Cowboys at home this year
  11. Hopefully Mr Wilson makes the team and stays healthy. He will bring a toughness to the secondary that we have not had in a long time!
  12. No he was one of the 38 tryout players the Bears brought in
  13. http://galleries.apps.chicagotribune.com/c...-camp-20140516/ Must say we are looking good!!!
  14. You might been wrong in that statement. If Carey runs like he did in college.....then they might rest Forte a little more than they did last year. .....let's hope he's not resting too much.
  15. Our new punter the 6th RD draft pick can do more than just punt. He can kick off and kick field goals as well. Bostic played with him in high school its said he made a 52 yard field goal in high school and kicked the ball out of the end zone 95% of the time with a 47.7 punting average. Wow 47.7 compared to our punter last year of what like 40.1.........might be a great pick
  16. IMHO Jones might be the better of the two between him and Greene. Greenne just looks scared out there
  17. Sutton signed today making Da Bears the first team with all their draft picks signed.........wow all in one week......lol
  18. 21 was given to the Mundy the safety during FA
  19. So looking at the draft do we draft for needs or for BPA? Looking at our roster below we have a few needs. I say we need DT,LB CB,,FS and a SS. We still have roster cuts and FA...but we cant get them all in the draft.. I say we get either Donald or Pryor/Gilbert in rd1, DT Jones or FS Bucannon in rd2.3rd rd Bullough LB DE Allen= starter Houston=starter/DT Young=2nd team Izzy=2nd team/DT Bass Lane Robertson Scott Washington DT Collins Paea Ratliff LB Bostic=fighting to be starter with McClellan Briggs=starter Franklin=cut Greene=????? McClellan=fighting to be starter with Bostic Senn= special teams ace D.J Williams=starter Wilson=cut CB Frey= nickel....dont like Hayden=nickel????? Hurst=unproven Jennings = starter Martin=unproven McManis=special teams ace Purdy=unproven Tillman= starter Wilson=unproven FS/SS Cattouse* Conte* Jennings* McCray* Mundy* Steltz* * All these guys seems to me and 2nd teamers not starters
  20. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,1276907.story Looks like we will be having a new KR/PR since Hester signed with the Falcons. But do you think this Chris Williams can have a big impact in the return game as Hester did. This kid runs a 4.28 40 yard dash. The Bears must have big plans for him they paid him $100,000 last year to be on the practice squad
  21. We play the Eagles then the Jaguars at home ........then the Seahawks ..and last the Browns
  22. I love that response from Mr.Allen!!!!! Now the powers that be have stated the roster is not done yet and he also said that they are looking at safety in FA and the draft. So with that in mind who would be the best player for our defense?
