  1. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/...ut-by-dolphins/ He is another player who wont be playing this year after leaving the bears....Lance Louis (G) got cut by the dolphins
  2. once again you are here saying your 2 cents when we need 50 dollar material........and Yes i was in the military watching your 6 in three different conflicts ......so you do retain some information....but the point is we signed two QB'S even thou they might not make the roster but they might in fact turn out to be better than our second and third option we have right now. And my point.....is as stated before we have signed not one but two QB'S
  3. I said that because I think that we need a real back up QB. McCowan and Blanchard are not the answer if Cutler goes down. Picture this was it last year with Campbell going in and looking like a deer in the headlights of the Texans and 49ers, and the year before when some one went in to replace Cutler and then got replaced by the 3 rd string QB himself because he could throw the ball 20 yards. So you get the point?????
  4. Your negative comment about everything someone posts....C'mon man yourself. My father told me a long time ago "If you can't say something nice or positive then don't say anything at all".........you might want to try that advice.
  5. Russell....hhhhuuuuummmmm maybe this was a better signing even in days pass i was on board to give Russell a sbot. We did and picked Palmer
  6. We signed DT Foster today.......for depth?

    More news

We have also cut LB Starks and signed DT Foster today....your thoughts on this
  8. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100000023...y-chicago-bears Did he really do anything while he was here? I guess not......lol
  9. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/...-jordan-palmer/ So with the third QB having a break in his hand the Bears signed a new QB in Jordan Palmer. Do you think this is a good signing or should we have signed someone else?
  10. Wrong.....uuuumm nope its a rivalry game
  11. Yes me too ........cause Garza is on his last legs with the team
  12. Yes ParkerBear7 its nice to see the Bears are thinking like I am with the big dudes we have in camp and i know they will be taking full advantage of a size differential to create mismatches, with 6-3 receiver Alshon Jeffery, 6-4 receiver Brandon Marshall and 6-6 tight end Martellus Bennett and our other big targets including tight end Fendi Onobun (6-6) and receivers Terrence Toliver (6-5), Marquess Wilson (6-4) and Marcus Rucker (6-4) depending on who make the roster. So with that being said only Weems and Bennett are the only WR 6 ft and below with a chance of making the team.Bears have just gone BIG!!......LOL

    ouch

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/...achilles-tendon Today Turk Mc Bride went down with a torn Achilles and maybe lost for the year, Also Bushrod suffered a calf strain and might be out for a few days
  14. You think Moore is a lock......interesting.....and why so?
  15. I know its slow and this may have been talked about before but I just want to see what you think about our team with who stays and who goes. QB Blanchard, Cutler, McCown, The three make the team RB Allen, Bush, Ford, Forte, Unga, Unga gets cut but there might be a battle between Ford and Allen, I would keep Ford FB Fiammetta He stays TE Adams, Bennett, Eldridge, Maneri, Miller, Onobun, With Bennett the catcher,Maneri the blocker that leaves one maybe two spots open.I look for Miller and Eldridge to get canned first WR Anderson, Aromashodu, Bennett, Golden, Jackson, Jeffery, Lenz, Marshall, Toliver, Weems, Wilson, There is a real battle here for spots.....Golden,Jackson,Lenz and Toliver are gone so it comes down to Anderson,Aromashodu, Weems and Wilson. Looks for a suprise here T Brandon, Bushrod, Brown, Mills, Scott, Webb, Brandon and maybe Scott get the axe G Dennis, Britton, Long, Slauson, Williams, Dennis and Williams are gone for sure C Boggs, Garza, Lonergan, Garza is the man but we need to find his replacement quick DE McBride, McClellin, Moore, Ozougwu, Peppers, Washington, Whiteside, Wootton, Here it looks like Moore, Ozougwu,Whiteside, will be gone DT Collins, Ellis, Irvin, Paea, Melton, Minter, Russell, Tupou, Other than the starting two this will be a battle to watch LB Anderson, Bostic, Briggs, Costanzo, Franklin, Greene, Thomas, Trahan, Williams, Wilson, In this position I think Franklin,Wilson, Trahan are cut leaving Costanzo,Greene and Thomas fighting it out for the remaining spots CB Bowman, Frey, Hayden, Hurst, Jennings, McManis, Tillman, Wilson, Peanut and Mr Ant are locks but lets just see if Bowman gets cut this year with McManis/Wilson/Hurst/Frey giving him a run for the money SS/FS Conte, Hardin, Nelson, Quarles, Steltz, Walters, Wright, Zbikowski, Here we have another good battle for spots...but i think Nelson,Quarles, and gone and Steltz and Walters are on the bubble ST Gould, Hester, Mannelly, Podlesh, Signor, Way, Same as last year....good
  16. IMHO he will be a man on fire. Remember this is his contract year so he will have a chip on his shoulder. Now with your list we both have the same issues with our new players but i think once camp gets here and they gel we will be better than last year. Now the coach T wants Cutler to throw the ball quicker..and with more targets he can trust(like a TE)it's going to make his job easier.
  17. Its good to see our star and star to be getting a jump on the season with their workouts, but look at who they are working out with!!! Johnson might has some good tips and pointers, but do you think he has anything left in the tank......aside from the OFF the field stuff http://www.csnchicago.com/bears-talk/chad-...arshall-jeffery
  18. o play Really???? So you think the limping Urlacher last year and the scared to play Roach didn't create some of these 8 yard runs you speak of? Yes we do indeed have 4 new lb but only two of them are rookies and these two rookies seem to be better than the back ups we had last year. New DT (Ellis) has said that the Bears allow him to do what he does best...rush the passer and play run on the way. So I really don't see this as a step backwards on defense. We lost a total of three players that had contributions last year and we filled those spots with players with more athleticism. We lost 2 lb we got 4 we lost 1 DE and got 2, we lost 1 DT and got 3 so these players will more than be enough to keep the D where is was last year. Its not like we are the Ravens who lost like 9 starters off their team defense.....they will take a major step-------->backwards.
  19. Well I see more passes thrown quicker due more targets other than Marshall on the field. With Bennett at TE and Forte being used more at RB in this new passing game we will see a spreading out of the targets since maybe Jeffrey and Bennett staying healthy and a few new targets...i.e the new FB can add in the quest to pass......we can move the chains better.
  20. Trent Edwards..........I'll pass on him.
  21. Yes nice point and you didn't even mention the pass catching and blocking TE'S we brought in
  22. Its all about chances that's the reason, if they are given a chance they can do some things as was with Aromashodu with the Bears late. The vikings didn't use him and had a sorry QB so he didn't do as well there.
  23. Its early and we now have more depth at the position so he can rest. The injuries are normal this time of the year after layoffs.
