  1. I think you're close. I think the realistic list might be: DT - Donald, Jernigan FS - HHCD, Pryor CB - Gilbert ILB - Mosely However, if one of the blue-chip, top-10 guys fall (e.g. Watkins), he'd have to alter his list.
  2. At 56 the Niners take Kyle Van Noy, OLB, BYU. The Eagles taking Robinson sort of stole my thunder. Aldon Smith is still a dumbass. SD (bradjock) is on the clock.
  3. He's not a good fit for Chicago...no fresh sea food.
  4. 1. HHCD - HaHa Clinton Dix, S, Bama 2. RSH - RaShede Hageman, DT, Minn 3. SJB - Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB, Nebraska 4. DAT - De'Anthony Thomas, RB, Oregon 5. KPL - Kevin Pierre-Louis, OLB, BC 6. KVDK - Kirby Van Der Kamp, P, Iowa State 6. JDD - Joe Don Duncan, TE, Dixie State Probably not realistic to squeeze ASJ - Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Wash in there. He's also a 2-3 round guy. I gotta be honest...I wouldn't be upset with this draft. I love the first pick, like Hageman if he falls into the second, and think SJB could be a solid starter in a year or so. DAT has potential to be explosive, and KPL is probably the quickest LB in the draft. Punters, meh, but I don't like the Bears current punter. Duncan was thrown in there for you "we need another TE"-guys.
  5. BTW - I really hope this happens, but if it does, I REALLY hope the Bears draft AJ McCarron as a backup QB. I want to see his girlfriend get more screen-time.

    Obviously for terrator
  7. Doubt it all you want, but the proof is in the link. We could randomly take guesses by throwing shit at a big board and pick the guy where the corn kernel sticks, and have a better bit rate than JA did. No doubt whatsoever.
  8. That's what's so crazy about this one. He traded up and PRYOR WAS THERE. Then he selected a CB. I wouldn't like this one. Too much future mortgaging.
  9. With the 53rd pick in the 20-4 NFL draft, the Packers select: Weston Richburg, C, Colorado State My Green Bay insider wants mobile monsters on the interior OL, and more than one. Richburg is the #1 Center on most boards, and has great intangibles. Seems like a good fit for GB, and the OGs currently available felt like a reach. Almost went with Austin Seferian-Jenkins, but stuck to the GB insider requests. Philly (Adam) are on the clock.
  10. I've been saying almost that same thing for a while. It's not extreme hindsight. Pretty obvious FS is thin and DT is deep. Having said that, I wouldn't be terribly upset with a draft that started with Donald and Hageman. I'd be pretty happy because it means the battle in the trenches most likely would be won by Chicago.
  11. HA! I'd be OK with draft. An all Alabama draft doesn't fit as well because the lack of DT and the requirement of a trade down because of CJ Mosely. It'd be really difficult for the Bears to get two 1st rounders at 20 or earlier. There would have to be a trade up scenario including something/someone pretty good (i.e. Briggs), and player evaluation favoring our requirements. Having said that... -Calvin Pryor is picked before HHCD. Bears trade #14 to Baltimore for their 1st (#17) and 3rd. (150 point difference in picks, and their 3rd is worth 195) -Bears trade Briggs and some picks from next year (let's say a 2nd and 5th - I'm winging it) to move into the late first round. -CJ Mosely slides to the end of the first 1. HHCD, FS 1. CJ Mosely, ILB 2. Cyrus Kouandijo, OT 3. AJ McCarron, QB 4. Adrian Hubbard, LB 5. Anthony Steen, OG 6. Vinnie Sunseri, SS 6. Deion Belue, CB *Pick up punter Cody Mandell after the draft. I'd be fine with LBs: Greene, Bostic, SMC, DJ, Mosely

I'd be pretty damn happy with that as well. It addresses the first two team needs with the first two picks, then prepares for the future with SJP, and finally fortifies the second-level with a tackling machine.
  13. The bolded part is why I discounted the FA excuses.
  14. That's a great collection of talent. Must be a crazy number of trades to go back that much and stockpile that much. I'd normally say, "3 straight CBs and 2 straight TEs?" But holy shit. That would be ridiculous. I like each of the first 8 names. I'd dislike the TEs, but it'd be hard to complain.
  15. If this isn't an indictment of Jerry Angelo and Lovie Smith, then I don't know what is. http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/i...own-draft-picks I'm even more convinced every single person on this board would have done better making draft selections for the Bears. Finances, free agency, everything else? Probably not. But definitely drafting.
  16. That ends up being a pretty decent draft, but a #2 TE in the first for the Bears is an atrocious pick.
  17. I hate the show, but IF THE BEARS ARE THE TOPIC?!?!?! I'm all in. Let's do this. I want to hear every single detail of the offseason.
  18. I actually quite enjoy the idea. Imagine EVERY player is available and you already know their upside/ceiling?
  19. With the 42nd pick of the 2014 NFL draft, the Tennessee Titans select: Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio State They have to replace Alterraun Verner, and Bradley Roby is a good candidate with great value at this point. Some have him going late in the first round. RBs for the Titans are a consideration, but there is better value later. Offense needs more improvement for the Titans than defense, but Roby probably comes in and starts day-1. The N.Y. Giants (Adam) are on the clock.
  20. http://www.nfl.com/photos/0ap2000000342606 So all players are available but it's based on current team needs. Deacon Jones? Stupid. In that situation, I'd say the Bears draft Ronnie Lott or Mean Joe Green. And Payton going that late?! C'MON!
  21. With the 36th pick in the 2014 NFL draft, the Oakland Raiders select: Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State Honestly, the WRs at this point are a crap-shoot up to personal bias. I happen to like Kelvin Benjamin more, and I don't agree with the rankings at the beginning of this thread; so, that helps. But to make this decision, I reinforced it with the WF rankings, and went off something the Oakland GM said: "We don't have that go-to big hitter Calvin Johnson-type guy at receiver." It sounds to me like he wants a big WR who can go up and get it in traffic, as well as provide a dangerous red-zone threat. Depth at the position is great this draft, so this might be something they go away from until the third. Then again, there are multiple QBs in that next tier, and one is likely to fall to Oakland's next pick. This pick was almost Allen Robsinson, PSU. Atlanta (Stinger226) is on the clock.
  22. Don't you think that's a bit of a reach?
  23. With the final pick in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft, the Seattle Seahawks select: Joel Bitonio, OG, Nevada From my Seattle insider: Caroll and Schneider love versatility. The fact that Bitonio can play both guard and tackle would be interesting to them. Cyrus is a possibility too.
