Thus far the day three draft doesn’t make a lot of sense. An ILB who is not needed and a DT whose best fit is the back up NT?

I don’t understand the Iggy pick at all. No need for another ILB at this point. Especially since there is still a OLB, DE. OT, and CB need.

DaShawn Hand at 3-4DE. He’d instantly make our rush OLBs better.

Two OTs with upside, stud NT, and a freakish edge rusher. The Raiders Are having a great draft.

Miller is one of those guys who knows how to get open. Every break and cut for every route looks the same, so he separates from DBs.

I don’t think the Bears should mortgage more picks to do it, but if hey do I only want to see Lorenzo Carter or Arden Key.

True. I was hoping Grasu would pan out and allow Whitehair to move left, but it didn’t work out. I’d still like an OT.

I’m not a fan of Pace trading up every year. If he were going to trade up, I would have hoped it was for edge rusher.

The knock on Daniels is that he has difficulty with bigger, stronger guys.

Daniels looks like a good zone blocking guy. He allows an auto-upgrade with Whitehair, and I love me some OL picks...but I still think better players were available. And a trade down made a ton of sense.

For the record, Q. Nelson was my guy. I would have been outraged if the Bears picked a QB or RB.

I REALLY, REALLY want Lorenzo Carter in the 2nd round now. The familiarity would make them immediately amplified.

If that happened, and the Bears passed, it was a mistake. #12 isn't that far down, and the two 2nd rounders (on top of the Bears' 2nd rounder) would have been massive. But if the same trade was there, then one spot earlier makes sense for the other team (obviously).

If I had to pick an ILB, it would be Roquan. He's a monster. I just didn't want an ILB is all.

I didn't cheat, and I picked Roquan. ILBs in a 3-4 need to be tackling machines. Period.

I clicked before rereading, and realized you put "LB" rather than "OLB" or "ILB." The distinction is drastically important.

Nope. Because I haven't been able to figure out any Bears GM in my entire life. But you're right...I don't really value ILB in a 3-4 defense much. You need hole pluggers. Sure tacklers. The superstars need to be at OLB.
