Don't forget that Louis also played RT for a while. So the interest in FA OGs is a bit of a surprise, but indicates the new regime has a plan for the OL. -

Keep in mind that our new DC does have experience with the 3-4. So there is a possibility that we see some packages. And yes, personnel-wise we don't have the guys, now. . . .

At this time I have some faith that Trestman and Emery will get us a real LT. Webb an stay as a backup, but they need solid protection and Webb is not the guy.

Agree that Rod is a top DC. I'd rather he remained, but if he wants to leave then thanks and good luck. If it was Lovie being fired that convinced him then so be it. We needed to improve the O to get to the next level and I'm in the camp that thinks we'll do well with another DC.
