Shame that we stink so badly in the first game after da coach sadly passed away. Embarrassed by a terrible Packers team. I have to say, I did not see this coming today. The injuries on defense haven't helped, but we have shocking play from QBs and play calling from BJ and DA.

The Packers might as well throw long the rest of the game because we have no answer forcthexling ball. Probably will see this every week from now on. Shocking !

Don't know what BJ was thinking on 3rd down. Shocking int but the 3rd down play made the 4th down play really difficult. Might as well get ready for next week because we were shocking today.

If we are playing Bagent for draft capital, that is a serious mistake. I hope I’m wrong, but Keenam looked good when he played. Have to pull him, but they won't.

What is up with Jaylon Johnson? He is no where near the player he used to be. I'm surprised that the Packers haven't tried to pick on him more. However, all of the secondary looked terrible on the Packers drive after the break. It was shocking, as was Stantos’ field goal miss. They better get their heads out of the arses or we are in for an embarrassing defeat.

The last 2 interceptions were nothing on Bagent. He slung it on a free play, so no risk. On the other the receiver was mugged. I think Swift holds on to the ball going forward, after being kept out of the game. Stephenson made a mistake which cost a touchdown. Don't think it warrants need to get rid of him. Great win today, it's been a nice short week 😀

Well done to Bagent. He is playing well and making the most of his chance. He has proved me wrong so far, and has stated on the board, might get us decent draft capital. Shame we gave up the big play. Makes the game a lot tighter than I would prefer.

Great pass by Bagent and good drive to get another points at the end of the half. Hope BJ manages to call a great game in the second half and Bagent shines, unless they decide to go with Keenum, if he struggles.

Who cares what trade value Bagent has. All I want is to win the game. Offense has looked poor today. Hopefully the offense is better in the second half, and Bagent has a great half.

To be honest I’m surprised about the negativity about last nights game in this chat. I have just watched it in the UK. I didn’t stop up to watch it because I’m just over 60 and staying up that late is now a killer. I only do this now for playoff games and hopefully the Superbowl when we make it. I did not expect us to win the game and not as easy as we did. It's been a long time since we easily beat teams, and I could sit back thinking it's unlikely this team will come back on us. I don't care what BJ chooses to do, I am thankful he is our head coach. After some of the muppets who have held this position, I have to say I’m shocked anyone on the forum questions his decision-making. I think we have a really good chance of having a great season this year, which will be harder than last year since our schedule will be harder. I look forward to enjoying the ride all the way to the Superbowl, and jus in case you wonder, I haven't had any Kool-Aid.

What a game today.An awesome performance from the offense today. How nice is it for the Bears to have an offense that is not perfect but can put up these numbers. 59 points, its not that long ago when we struggled to score. What a great performance from the monsters of the midway 💪💪💪

What a fantastic season this year. I did not expect what we have done, and Caleb has shown we have finally got the QB we have dreamed off having in the windy city. A few different choices in the game and we would be playing Seattle. A big miss was losing Loveland late in the game. On the last interception, the long season, tough game and age, probably prevented DJ from getting to where he needed to be to either catch the ball or prevent the pick. Hats off to the team, they have battled adversity and produced a remarkable season. Now it’s on Poles and Johnson to make the correct decisions needed to make the roster better, either keeping the players we need to resign on affordable deals, moving on the players that make sense schematically and fiscally, and drafting and signing free agents, that make us a formidable team, because Caleb and Johnson should put us in the mix to be frequent playoff and Super Bowl mentions. Additionally, players might want to come to Chicago on affordable deals because of getting a chance of winning a ring.

I thought we started well on the first drive and could have done better in the red zone. The performance of the defense has been woeful. We have to do better on 3rd down. Their touchdowns have been far too easy. We need to stay positive. There is plenty of time left in the game.

I didn’t like the last pass, but the interception, if I’m correct on the placement, turned out to be better than a good punt.

Hopefully Brisker is OK and Allen gets his act together. Poor start for the defense. No pressure from the dline. It’s going to be a long game, so no need to panic. It’s now up to us to put together a drive to match them and give the defense a rest. I am a bit worried about how slow Johnson looks in coverage.

It’s 01:00 in the morning in the UK and I’m up and watching the game. I could you taped it and watched the game in the morning, but excitement got the better of me. I know it will be worth it. I expect to be tired tomorrow, especially because I’m travelling to Manchester to watch United play Brighton at Old Trafford in the FA Cup. I fully expect Johnson to get his second win of the season against the Packers, as per his statement, and therefore ram it down Lafleur’s throat LOL I still cannot believe what we have done this years, let’s go Bears.

I agree the scripted plays should give us an advantage if Johnson is doing his job, and something seems amiss. Hopefully he will be able to look at what worked in the other games and factor this into his scripted plays.

Johnson needs to ensure his scripted plays are infallible including the audibles. The offense cannot start slowly. I hope they have just been over cautious with Rome and he can be a large factor in this game. I hope Johnson doesn’t go away from the run game. I think that was his mistake on the last possession we had v Detroit at the weekend. It is crucial that the defense plays a penalty free game, and doesn’t give cheap 1st downs. However, if we can be productive on offense, all the defense needs to do is to be good in the red zone, and we can win this game.

Also why wasn’t the cheap shot the DB did to Moore in the first quarter, not called, which will make him feel sore today. For me that was a Charles Martin type play. I was disappointed that Rome and Luther weren’t fit to play, but it might bode well over the next 2 games, if it helps them to be fully fit. It’s a shame our dline is not stronger. I hope this is not something that affects us in the playoffs.

What a turn around in Ben Johnson’s first season. Looks like a fantastic signing for the Bears because it improved us, but made the Lions worse. Poles needs a pat on the back for finally putting together a strong roster, especially what he achieved at the guard and centre of the O line. Let's hope we can at least get the 2nd seed and host a playoff game. Finally, Merry Christmas to my Bears friends, this year has been so different to what we have had to put up with recently. One more win and we will win what is likely the hardest division in the NFL.

I'm ecstatic that we won the game. But, this has to be one of the games where I have to say it is not deserved. We were poor on all phases of the game and I'm embarrassed in how we played against the Packers. Johnson needs to call the game better, and how the defense played after Love went down was disgraceful. Was this poor play from the players or was this down to Dennis Alen being piss poor with his play calling.

Is there any chance that Rome and Luther can play this week? If players are ruled out in the week, can this change at game time? Unsure whether the league can deactivate players to prevent clubs from falsifying their injury reports.

I am shocked how this season has gone so far. I thought we might have a slight chance of sneaking into the playoffs. This has been an enjoyable season so far, and please let us get revenge next week and power into the playoffs.
