  1. Makes sense. Well If that is the case, who"s job is it to get him up to speed on the plays????? Hope Wilson is the real deal like everyone was saying in camp. I do remember him being really good in college and then he had a weird exit from the team at the end of his junior or senior year. The big reason he dropped to the 7th round.
  2. Holmes has not been used at all..... Wonder if he has just lost too many steps???
  3. I meant doesn't need a WW type of WR to be elite...
  4. I agree but think this offense needs a Wes welker type to be elite.
  5. A slot WR would be nice but Cutler has more then enough weapons to be performing better!!!! It's the most talent on the offensive side of the ball in a long time!!!
  6. It's the stupid wtf throws that turn into INT's that is killing Cutler. I have counted 5 that should not have been thrown. Had he made a better decision with where he went on those 5 plays his average would be elite. He is close. I hope Trestman comes out against NE and outcoaches the masterful Hoodie. If his game plan is great, play calling is great and Cutler doesn't make those WTF throws we should be good. This offense should be putting up 28 points or more a week.
  7. I hope Cutler leads us to a Super bowl victory. I know the last 15 superbowl champs had either great QB's or insane Defenses. At this point the Offense is underperforming. Starts with Cutler. Others have made mistakes but Cutler has made the most. Cutler does touch the ball every snap but his mistakes are of the WTF type of throws. His fumble on a sack this past weekend is something that is going to happen. He is being paid Elite money this years. Most of his numbers are elite, its just his INT's that need to be eliminated.
  8. Manning Brady Rodgers Brees Can we all agree that these QB's are elite???? Completion % Manning 69% Brees 67.7% Cutler 67.3% Rodgers 66.8% Brady 61.4% Yards Manning 2134 Brees 1916 Cutler 1866 Brady 1705 Rodgers 1674 TD's Manning 22 Rodgers 18 Cutler 14 Brady 13 Brees 11 QB rating Manning 119 Rodgers 117 Brady 96.3 Cutler 94.4 Brees 91.7 INT's Cutler 7 Brees 7 Manning 3 Brady 2 Rodgers 1 Im not saying Cutler is Elite. Im not defending him either, his play needs to get better right now. IT's the INT's that are killing him. But when you look at him compared to other ELITE QB's he is not far. He just needs to cut down on the couple of stupid throws he tends to make. I counted 5 INT's that were just stupid throws through 7 weeks. INT's are going to happen, its just the stupid ones. This is why Im still holding out hope Cutler can take this last jump. If Cutler makes this final jump just imagine what we will be talking about????? This board would be dead!!!! lol......Who am I crapping, we would find something to bitch and argue about.
  9. Hahahahaha!!!! Grossman would not have done dick with those offenses. If manning Brady and Rodgers would not have seen much success than any idiot could see What Grossman would have done.
  10. Just like in 05/06.... Had a good line, two good running backs.... Great defense and couldn't win the Super Bowl.
  11. They gambled on a pro bowl 26 year old QB.... Then gave him Hester as his number 1. And martz and tice as his OC with shit oline..... Manning Brady and Rodgers wouldn't have had done very well in those offenses.
  12. In my previous post I was trying to get across the fact that maybe Trestman needs more time with Cutler and that maybe getting Immediate results is not realistic. Cutler has come along way but is not all the way there yet. Reason for Trent Dilfers comments that he is on the right track now, he wasn't on the right track prior to Trestman coming to town. Gannon Numbers prior to trestman with Gruden as the coach 1999 ---59% ---3800 --- 24/7 --- 86 2000 --- 60% ---3400 --- 28/11 --- 92 After trestman 2001 ---65% ---- 3800 --- 27/9 --- 95 2002 ---67% ---4659 ----26/10 ---- 97 Trestman got Gannon to increase his completion percentage 7%...... QB Rating went from 86 to 97.... Gannon's best year was his 2nd year with Trestman. Right now Cutler is at 67% with a QB rating of 94.4, his best numbers ever. Last year Cutler got a half of year due to injuries. Maybe that set him back. As I have said before, Cutler is close, a few mistakes here and there and we would have nothing to complain about. I guess what Im saying Cutler is on the right track and maybe with a little more time we will get over this last hurdle. He is getting paid Elite money because of that he needs to eliminate the couple of crap decisions he makes throughout games right now. Cutler over the years Before trestman 2009 --- 60% Rating of 76 2010 --- 60 Rating of 86 2011 ---58 Rating of 85 2012 ---58 Rating of 81 After Trestman 2013--- 63 Rating of 89 2014 --- 67 Rating of 94 I used these stats because they show that he completing a higher percentage of his passes and the rating takes a bunch of factors in to account. His QB rating is up from a Low of 76 to a high of 94. Eliminate a couple of the stupid plays that resulted in INT and his rating would be even better. I hope he can do that, real soon. Cutler has not performed to what I had hoped he would this year, but he is improving. I hope he keeps improving.
  13. McCown was like catching lightning in a bottle. You always like to use Cutlers body of work (9 years or however many years he has been in the league). McCown's body of work over his career sucked, big reason he has been a back up. Jimmy Clausen has not been good, granted he played on a pretty bad Carolina team. The Bears have failed horribly at findng a QB for the last 25 years. I could list all the failures but im sure everyone knows the shit bag qb's we have had. We traded for Cutler, then had zero support for weapons, a horrible Oline (Cutler got his brains beat in) and horrible OC's. Cutler has developed some bad habits. I think everyone can agree that Cutler has talent, Trestmans job is to fix the bad habits. Maybe its foolish to think Trestman can break his bad habits all together within a year. He lost half a year last season due to injuries. Experts have said Cutler has eliminated a lot of his bad habits. Maybe he needs more time to get the last few he has eleiminated, staring down WR's and the one or two WTF throws a game. Thinking Jimmy Clausen will have the same type of lightning in the bottle performance that McCown had is highly unlikely. I think Cutler is close, even the great QB's have bad days. Cutler has the great days and then follows it up with shit days. The O clearly is not gelling right now including the game plan. Hearing the Dolphins and GB picked up on tendencies with Formations and were they throw the ball is very upsetting. Trestman and Kormer should be changing it up with formations and which plays are ran in those formation so Defenses cant tell where they are going with the ball. Trestman and Kromer better have a run heavy game plan from the start of the game and have plays designed to keep the Defense second guessing. With the money Cutler has been paid he will play every game unless he is unhealthy. Cutler needs to become more consistent, the Bears are committed to Cutler for the nest 2.5 years. I hope he gets in a groove and performs as well as he is being paid. I will lmao if the Bears come out and beat NE. Cant win at home against teams we should be beating but can win on the road against good teams ie San Fran.
  14. that was the point. with 54 million invested in Cutler I don't see Jimmy getting a start while Cutler is healthy.
  15. I wanted that Aaron Donald kid out of Pitt, has anyone heard or seen anything about him. How has he performed so far. Clearly we all know how well Fuller has played. Thought it would be cool to see how he has done compared to Fuller.
  16. The first half the Offense looked like they didn't know whether to shit or steal second base. I heard an interview were Trest said two plays were changed from run to pass in the first half. Even if it was 4, that is not enough. RUN THE freakin BALL. It will open up the pass. Everyone knows MIA has a good pass rush and our Oline was just put back together for the first time this week. Beat the Dline up for the first two quarters running the ball. Get them tired. Forte is a hell of a back, use him. I played Dline in College. Pass rushing was our favorite. Use the Oline to attack, on run plays the olinemen get to go after the Dlinemen, on pass plays its more of a receiving type of blow coming from the Dlinemen. This is simple shit. I feel the Bears coaches see the nice shinny toys they have with BM, Alshon and Bennett and want to use them. Pass all over the field, its flashly. DO WHAT DALLAS IS DOING!!!!!!!! RUN THE F$UC$KING BALL!!!! Then when the D doesn't know whether you are going to run it or pass it, hit them with the Flashly pass plays. It seems like everyone knows we are passing first and then running. Keep the D second guessing what you are doing, Trestman and Kromer need to get a game plan together that has everyone 2nd guessing what they are doing.
  17. Maybe we should just trade Cutler straight up for A Rodgers!!!
  18. you are right 10-6 will not guarantee us a spot in playoff. Det and GB will have to lose some games outside of us beating them both GB once and Det we will need to beat twice.
  19. Chitownhustla

    Fuller

Can we catch a freaking break???? Last two years we have had a lot of injuries.
  20. I read an article wrong on Tannehill I
  21. The Offensive woes are not only because of Cutler. I admit Cutler is PART of the problem. I like what Emery has done. Even the contract, you look at Falco, Stafford, Dalton they all got paid big contracts. Flaco has a SB ring, but mainly due to the D. freak, Tannehill got 54 million guaranteed, isn't that about the same as Cutler. Cutler is better than Tannehill IMHO.
  22. Facts no one can argue: 1. We have a very very very talented Offensive group 2. We have an OC very respected around the league 3. We have an offensive minded Head coach Our Offense is not getting it done. I would have told you I expect our D to let us down. They haven't been as bad as they were last year. The one area I thought would be aces has not been. Its not only Cutler but Cutler has been part of the problem, everyone has had lapses. But DaBomb is right, its starts with trestman. 2 rushing attempts in the first half? How do you fire the ST Cord(he needs to go tho) and D Cord(havenet made up my mind on this one yet) when the HC hasn't lived up to expectations ? The O should be winning us these games, not losing us the games.
  23. After reading that article, it sounds like he went to Bennett and over throw it. Holmes was WIDE open, that was a Cutler freak up. I mean how the freak or why the freak. freak freak freak freak freak freak........ and why the freak are they throwing it on that play. 3rd down and 2...... freak freak freak Alright Im done freaking out....... GB had a hard time with the Dolphins last week. Who knows.
  24. I got a group of about 6 to 7 guys that sit together for every game. We scream RUN THE BALL from the first snap of the game. I guess Trest doesn't hear us!!!
  25. Fumbles like that happen to the best of them. The INT looked like a freakin shit ball from where I was sitting. No Im right there with you, Im done defending him. Just going to stay quiet from here on. If he rights the ship, great! but if not this is going to get real ugly. How the freak do we lose to the Bills and Dolphins but beat the 49ers???!!!!!!!!
