Trent Dilfer made a good point about the Bears D when on espn 1000. Against GB the two best D line man were out. As well as Tillman. There are a lot of new guys playing, when you have injuries and new personnel playing you are going to have games like the GB game. The unit is not going to be a great D, but if they play together and start to gell they will be good enough to win games with the offense the Bears have. I hate agreeing with Dilfer but I will on this point. Our D played well enough to beat the 49ers...... I had picked us to lose that game with Alshon and BM hurt and expected to not play. The Bears D had an off day against GB...... The D can get some guys back and get back on track. Go Bears!!!

Who is Greg Cosell????? I know who his father was but no clue what his son does or what expertise he has either. Trent was speaking on what he has seen from the first 4 games. It looks like the article your guy wrote is from one game. Either way no QB will have perfect mechanics every play of every game. Mechanics break down, Trent who ripped Cutler for many years about his bad mechanics raved about them the first 4 games of this year. The big mechanic change with Cutler that he talked about was his feet being lined up with his eyes. Where ever his eyes are looking his feet at aligned with his eyes. Before Cutler would throw from all different positions because his arm is a rocket cannon, now his footwork is great and lined up correctly. I know you love to hate Cutler, it sounded like Trent Dilfer loved to hate him too. Dilfer is now on the Cutler bandwagon. If Cutler has changed Dilfers view of him its only a matter of time that you change your view too!! lol I hope Dilfer is right and Cutler keeps getting better and better! I

I have bad mouthed Trent Dilfer for many years due to his Jay Cutler hate. Well pigs must be flying or I just hear Trent praise Jay Cutler. Trent raved about the new Jay- said if you watch the game film he is doing the right things, reading Defenses, mechanics etc etc Puts him right on the fringe of the Manning, Rodger, Breese and Brady level of QB's. Trent explained why for many years he was critical of Jay and why he is now on the Jay bandwagon Said his mechanics are great now. that he has bought into the process of being a great one/ team leader (from talking to guys that have worked with him since Trest showed up) and that he would take Jay any day if he was a head coach. Only small thing Jay and Company have to figure out is passing on the edge when they see zone coverages but he did say Jay was great over the middle when seeing zone this past weekend Said Jay was great this sunday other then the one pick that Matthews got. The other one was prolly BM fault for running the wrong route. Trent is still picking the Bears to win the NFC North. So I guess things are not as bad I thought after the GB game! lol

I agree. Cutler is at least a Top Ten QB. Top 5, not happening. Rodgers is if not the best, 1B in the NFL. The D sucked donkey Dick. Even if you take the two INT's away GB out scores us. They scored on every drive. When the Bears did not convert on the last drive of the first half we lost. The O looked good on that first drive, it had me excited. Then I saw GB drive down in 6 plays (about two mins) and score effortlessly. Rodgers looked like he was playing a High school Defense. If an Offense puts up 500 yards of total yards I would think 9 times out of 10 you win that game. The end of half goal line miscue, shitty penalties, two INT's all put us back but at the end of the day The O would have had to score on every series, which in the NFL is not easy unless you are playing the Bears Defense yesterday.

GB has looked awful but Rodgers always comes to play against the Bears. I would think they will try to get Lacy going early and often which would open the passing the game. I have Cobb and Lacy on my FF team, I am OK with losing this week if it means they suck. Rather would have a Bears victory. Like always this game will Depend on which JAY turns up. GOOD Jay or Bad Jay. Im rooting for him to keep doing what he has done the last two weeks.

Ive had stingers that went away in mins and was back on the field playing. Ive never had one that kept me out for any extended period of time. Come to think about it I only missed a couple of plays each time I got a stinger.

I agree with getting Forte running for some good gains. If they get the run game going Defenses will not be able to contain this offense. I just realized we will be going up against Peppers. Peppers Im sure will be fired up to stick it to the Bears this week. Nice thing is BJ Raji is out. Maybe be able to run in between the tackles.

I couldn't believe he punched two balls out, the second one looked like P-Nut himself was the one punching it out. I agree Im loving Fuller!!!!!

When the Offense looks good they look damn good, almost unstoppable. Then the offense seems to disappear. Hoping the disappearing act goes away as the season goes on. Even with the injuries so far the Team is still able to play pretty well. The depth they have all around is way better then last year. Hope the team can get some of these guys healthy soon. Im liking the 2 DT we got in this years Draft.

HAHA DIX!!!! had to......I agree Fuller is a gamer..... Not sure which experts said it but they may have been right....He may be the best CB in this draft!!!! And Terra didn't like this pick. Glad you are liking it now!!!!

Last week there was really only one play that can not happen....the DT INT..... Other than that play Cutler had a good day.

He played better no doubt.... there were still a ton of plays were he would have normally made the tackle but looked like he was moving in slow mo.....he has to be a good 15 to 20 heavier then years past.

After 2 weeks (I know its only two weeks) Stat ranking from ESPN Jay Cutler Com pct - 5th Comp - 1st Yards - 7th TD's - Tied for 1st Int's - tied for 8th Rating - 10th Top 10 in every stat!! Boom! Keep this up and everyone will have nothing to argue about.....

Cutler cant keep it up?????? I have been a Cutler defender for all these years. Then last year Cutler numbers improved but got hurt. This will be the year that makes or breaks it for me. Im hoping he keeps it up. Weapons, Oline and same system for 2 years in a row. Injuries have happened on the Oline and WR but as long as they don't get out of hand Cutler SHOULD put up great numbers!

Does Briggs look really fat and out of shape???? He looks totally different in pads this year. I would think with this being his last year in contract he would have shown up in the best shape possible.

The first 28 mins was embarrassing........ Totally shocked at the outcome of this game. With BM and Jeffrey thought to be out I thought this was going to be a blow out. Had a better outlook when they both suited up.
