I'm not saying he wont be a good QB but definitely not generational. He got his hype from winning the Heisman last yr but hasnt played in big games.

Finally players getting better, Flus actually being more aggressive. Poles was smart for building a good DB backfield and now a pass rusher. you hold the second ranked offense to 13 points that's worth a shot of tequila. You resign JJ and add another pass rusher and this kind of thing will happen weekly.

It's a long shot, but strange things happen in the NFL.

We are where we're at, we win out and our negativity related to the team goes away. That's why you have to wait for the full season. If we make the playoffs, I guarantee everyone will be back. It's funny how the season plays out. We just beat the second ranked offense in the NFC. I suspect 8-8 going into the GB game. It will be nice to play a game that means something. Since we have the most dangerous QB ( not my words) in the NFL, hopefully Getsy uses him right. We got a chance.

We just beat one of better teams in the league ( 9-3) and it wasnt close. Teams can get better players can get better. The last 4 games will define our future.

What's missing from the scripted first 15 plays? Fields running the ball.

Now try some throws downfield on a roll out, i hate when every pass play is in the pocket.

Easy to thumbs up and thumbs down on every play of the game but my main concern is how we finish a game (Minnesota game)

Every team scripts the first 15 plays according to their game plan, Its how you adjust that after that, that makes you a good coach.

Poles will have a better view to what needs to be changed next year but definitely a new OC, another weapon , and DL will help a lot. Another play caller will be in the works also.

As someone pointed out before, Getsy does well with scripted plays but falls off the wagon when he tries to adjust to the other teams adjustments. How much better would we be if a Ben Johnson was calling plays ?
