  1. I hope all do well, I would say depending on the health of Royal, he should see many plays.
  2. I agree with all your assessments.
  3. Highlight films always make players look good. I want every player we picked up to be good NFL players, but truth be told if half make it, our GM will be rated at the top of the food chain. I really like the play of the Harvard TE, think he makes the team.
  4. It sounds like he is still involved, i dont think it matters.
  5. There would be no reason to cut Monroe, but if they traded him, you save his contract. They drafted Stanley that will take Monroe's place. They have Wagner at RT and I have read he graded out well. They drafted Alex Lewis in the fourth round that is said to be only a RT prospect. I suggest that if they get rid of Monroe's contract and lets say get a 4th round draft pick for that transaction it would be interesting option for the Ravens. By the way we have an extra 4th round pick and have plenty of cap space to absorb it. It upgrades a position for us we were not be able to address in the draft. Also it was said that we were going to draft Spriggs in the second when the Packers jumped up and grabbed him. That would tell me we are not as sold on Leno as everybody thinks. Monroe is 29, they drafted 11 prospects which should reduce they cap space by around 7 mil. With 5 mil, most teams leave around 4 for maneuvering during the season to deal with injures. So they cap space is borderline. Why would we do it? We have the cap space He has a Minimum of 4 decent years left. It solidifies our Oline for the next 3 to 4 years leaving Leno to progress and possibly become the everyday LT in another one or two years. Monroe's money is 6.6 guaranteed this year but in 2017 and 2018 only 6.6 mil left so would be easy to get rid of him if he didnt work out.
  6. He has played both positions and I think last year he was the starting center for Lions, but dont know that for certain.
  7. I think they may be the future but not sure that is how it plays out this year. I think Rameriz may start in front of Grassu and Larson may start with Whitehair later in the season.
  8. With Balt drafting Stanley, I can see Eugene Monroe being traded or cut. He would definitly be an upgrade as the LT and is only 29, would have 3 to 4 years left at a high level. With Hargraeves going to TB and then grabbing Grimes in FA I can see them cutting loose of Alterraun Verner/CB. He played well before he got to TB and he is 27.
  9. I would like that draft better, but unfortunately you werent in the draft room.
  10. Houston and McPhee, and probably Floyd could slide up on the line without changing personal. I think we have the 3 inside Nick-Tevanthan and Freeman 6 outside Floyd,McPhee, Houston,Young,Roberson-Harris and maybe Ocho Ocho may get cut and then probably could keep Timu
  11. I actually think DHC has a better shot of being the starter than Bush.
  12. I think he is more likely to stay and Young be the odd man out.
  13. At 6'4" 285, he fits the part, but in four years has always been a no show, hard to get excited about him with no progress.
  14. I just seen info that we have an offer out to Obien Schonfield/OLB that is a still a FA.
  15. I just seen info that we have an offer out to Obien Schonfield/OLB that is a still a FA.
  16. I think SCS was right, it the board fell like it should have, Hargraeves would have been gone, Giants would have took Floyd, actually I think we would have took Rankins the next other speed rusher available.
  17. I think Long is the true leader of the OLine and with a vet like Massie there, we wont have any issues going forward.
  18. ya you never know how that works out,if Spriggs is still there at 41, do we take him? I think that was a possiblity.
  19. As vets get cut, I suspect we will kick the tires on some. I would say LT and TE are probably the only two that make sense. Possibly that we look at CB but if you noticed the roster, Bausby, De'Vante Callahan, Bryce Fuller, Kyle Glenn, Jacoby McManis, Sherrick Porter, Tracy All draftee are listed as DBs and have played both S and CB Hall, Houston-Carson, Bush and then we added UDFAs Peterson and Calhoun We have 11 potential CBs on the roster, I dont see us going after a FA until we sort out the mess we have.
  20. After Brian left , everything feel apart, you cant use him as the reason for turning into a terrible defense. Many contributed to the down hill slide.
  21. Wow, you pick a few highlights and make that a career statement? Well lets see, Cutler has started every year of his career. Hoyer has yet to start a full year for anybody. Hoyer 2 mil----Cutler 17 mil Cutler actually has been to a pro bowl---Hoyer - stellar career Year Games Played Passing Rushing Fumbles Comp/Att Pct Yards TD INT Sacked Rating Att Yards Avg TD Total Lost 2012 2 30/53 56.6% 330 1 2 4 65.8 1 6 6.0 0 1 0 2013 3 57/96 59.4% 615 5 3 6 82.6 6 16 2.7 0 0 0 2014 14 242/438 55.3% 3326 12 13 24 76.5 24 39 1.6 0 4 1 2015 11 224/369 60.7% 2606 19 7 25 91.4 15 44 2.9 0 6 2
  22. Anyone want to check Howard out , watch this game highlights of them against Michigan. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnNghhKvDCs&feature=youtu.be
  23. We all like to hang on to likable players but this shit just happens. With everybody they have gotten rid of, I got it, this one not so much.
  24. What I am saying is give him his guaranteed money for a hit this year, and pay him like 9 mil for the average of his contract. Have it so this first year cap hit is 35 mil. and figure out a salary base more cap friendly moving forward.
  25. I think they probably told him but waited until they added a draftee before they did the damage.
