We need a swing tackle and Britton is looking for more than a one year at a min. I hope he comes back he was useful. We also need a backup at RB-another WR(probably on the roster), and a backup QB. Some of these needs will be filled in the draft then I think the rest will be vet min. contracts after the draft. After the draft people get cut, players still hand around from FAgency. We will be fine.

There are a few FAs out there that havent been signed and I cant figure out why? help me out Brian De LA Puente/C-he has played at a high level for two years and no interest. Having ties to Kromer ,wouldnt mind seeing him here. Eric Winston/RT- I always remember him as being a good player and at 30 not over the hill. Owen Daniels/TE- not sure he is done at age 31 but is a good pass catching TE Josh Freeman/QB- I know he is a tool, but actually showed some talent a couple of years ago and nobody is offering him a vet min? Andre Brown/RB- I know he was injured last year but came back and played well. Wouldnt mind him as a backup on the Bears.

He was my favorite Bear, but he has a shitty attitude. I will relish his archives as a player, I think loyalty goes both ways, they paid him well putting him as the face of the Bears made him a lot of money. It comes down to him, he's a money grub, and I dont think thats right. I am a Bear fan first then an Urlacher fan, and when he gets his #54 retired I will be right there. There are a lot of players who dont play well there first year, so I understand his support for his first round pick. The facts will come to light this year. He will be a bust as a 1st round pick, he missed on that one.

I really dont understand your point on this, I dont think its a matter who's right or wrong. When its a players time to go, this is usually the result of it. He thinks he could still play, and the Bears dont see valve in him and his skill set. Players have egos and it is hard to let go. Brian was my favorite player but I seen his skills erode due to injuries and age. I dont look at football thru rose colored glasses. I think Ford is going to be a surprise as a backup this year and just added a 3rd backup for gadget plays. I think Thomas could also line up as a slot WR in some formations.

I did the Fanspeak thing but injected a trade. we trade down with SF our first for an extra 2nd,3rd and 7th. 1st-Calvin Pryor/FS- because we need to upgrade the position. 2nd a-Stephen Tuitt/DT-DE- big and versatile in Emery's wheelhouse 2nd b-Stanley Jean-Baptiste/CB- a big CB to develop 3rd a- Christan Jones/MLB- good valve here in a need position 3rd b-Jimmy Garoppolo/QB- good prospect 4th- C.J. Fiedorowicz/TE- we add a backup for two TE sets 5th-DE'Anthony Thomas/RB- speed to a backup RB and a slot WR 6th-Russle Bodine.OC- someone to groom for Garza job 6ht-Marques Huff/-S- speed and productive player 7th-Ricardo Allen/CB- added depth

I agree we need to add a WR but not that high. The first two are a must, but Thomas can be a backup RB and also play a slot WR so I think he can fill two roles.

I like your names but think we need to grab a S higher to get a starter, dont think a 4th or 6th will end up starting and we need the upgrade.Baily was there when you took Swanson and I would have did that. I think he is underrated.

Anytime the Bears do something he will have something to say, we just react to stories because that is what blogs do. Your right,people say they dont want to talk about it and then make a comment. For me, he's a tool and anytime I can call him out I do.

This is the third year and hopefully he becomes a productive player, if not, so far Emery has hit one and missed one. I like the other things he has done. Jeffery is a stud, I think Bostic will be a very good player, but what he has done in FAgency has been quite amazing IMO. He sees what we see and goes out and addresses it. Time will tell if he was right on all of this but he definitely needs to hit on at least 3 picks this year but of course we may not know that until a few years from now.

He doesnt have the length but think the rest applies to him. Everybody thinks we will draft him if available, of which I would want but me think Emery will have a surprise for us. Maybe the surprise this time is -he takes who we thing he will draft.

I think Truitt and Hageman fit that big long athletic players he covets. I think Donald would be a good choice but think Emery will surprise us probably by moving down and grabbing one of those two.

There are going to be a lot of bodies gone at DE, I hope someone steps up and surprises us. You have Allen,Young, and Houston. I assume Bass takes the next step, and suspect if no one shakes out, we have Izzy playing the end/tackle spot left.

I think in a Trestman offense he will add any weapon to the arsenal and make it work. You can throw quick passes to a fast guy as well as a tall guy.
