Bears sign Willie Young
I thought you didnt like Young? I really doubt if Babin shows up here, the next addition will be in the draft.

Bears sign Dominic Hixon
What was his PFF football rating last year?

Melton takes a hit
Drunk rich football players do dumb shit, I doubt he was a victim.

Allen could come here at our price, I am not saying they will not all no names, its just about the money and spending wisely.

Wow and I thought you were an original thinker, and I listed reasons why he isnt there.

Beyond popular belief the rest of the FAgency will be valve choices. We had the one big one, so now we find people at our price. We made offers to Peanut and Melton but they think can get more money out there, so they are letting it play out. Now there could be a Cleamons(S) or an Allen(DE) still there but they will be at our price. It is not fun when we(fans) dont get a bunch of players to goggle over, but they addressed the biggest need, and will wait to let the rest fall in place. Slauson, D.J., Anderson last year didnt excite us, but they filled needs and now Slauson is a staple on the OLine. D.J. is coming back to give us time to find a MLB, or maybe Bostic grows into one. The rest wont be exciting, we just have to be patient to let it fall in place and then get some draft picks to goggle over .

Just read today that Revis was due a roster bonus of 1.5 mil if still on the roster today. Also that if not released they would have to give a 3rd instead of a 4th. Also after his knee injury in 2012, maybe he just isnt as good. Also they tried to get him to restructure his contract before they cut him. also they needed the money to sign McCown.

Tracking HenMel
There not in the position to have big paydays down there, so if the money is close, I think he comes back.

Tampa had a lot of turbulence on the team this year and simply maybe he wasnt a well liked player, and caused problems. Many reasons. He is making a lot of money, maybe when he got paid he got lazy, that kind of crap happens.

There are many different layers why teams keep people and let them go. To say Lovie's defense doesnt need lockdown corners, so that is why they let him go is not up to your standards of most of the content you have put on here lately. It just doesnt fly.

Melton is Houston's best friend, so that may come in to play.(they played together in Texas)

Steve Smith
He didnt sign anyone,just speculation

Bears cut Rosario - update - now signed
It would one of the stupidest things I have heard of around a football team.
-
Seattle cut
Unless I missed someone there are still several DEs still out there. Tuck Cleamons Allen A. Smith Neal Wootten Ayers Young I think we still get one of those. Also I wouldnt mind a Hachter/DT Sims/DT Melton back Raji

Your always real competent with your arguments, I dont always agree with you but I do in this case.

Cap space after signings and cuts???
With Senn being here(does same thing as Weems) I think he could be released also.
-
Charles Tillman
the longer he waits the better chance we have at bringing him back. If he doesnt sign today, the big money will start drying up and if he is only getting paid so so money he will be back here. I see this happening.

I dont think yesterday was all that bad. We got two starters and a potential 3rd. D. J. back, good move, Houston, although over paid a necessary move similar to Bushrod last year. We had to do it. Mundy is just a guy but is better than anybody we have on the roster so not a bad signing.

With so many spot to fill, this is all I expected was one big signing, now we will wait and see valve picks. Melton and Tillman got offers but they werent the money they wanted so they are testing the market. With all the DBs out there, I see the chance he comes back here at our price.(tillman). Melton probably gone.

Seen a report
This are more of the types of valve picks we will see the us go after.
-
Denver moves
They have more money and with Peyton's age they have to go after it now.

Bears talking to Jarred Allen
Biggsy knew we offered the most money to him, so speculation dictated we would probably get him. Playing on a SB winner with prospects of going back again is a huge edge, he wants to win, so he choose them. I can understand that choice.

Bears talking to Jarred Allen
We dont have that much money, that would kill our cap. You can only have x number of big dollar contracts and we have to many starter spots to fill to blow the cap up on one guy.

Bears talking to Jarred Allen
Denver now are in hot pursuit of Ware, Allen still thinks he should be paid a big check, said he would retire if he didnt get what he wants. I see us given him a mediocre offer , but if he wants to still play, maybe we get him.
