  1. I think Carmini plyed better because they usd Spaeth on Webb's side more because he couldn't hold the edge as well. Webb's penalty brought back a huge play that would've chewed more time of the clock and then had the stones to smile about it inthe huddle. Even Knox was pissed. Webb had by far the worst game. Carmini-NFL Debut, shit happens.
  2. It's live then all the games are archived in replay format. It's worth the change if you want the games.
  3. That was a good call too. Maybe Martz is a bit smarter than we thought? or is it too early for Kool-Aid?
  4. You're right. Alot of people were out of position. Even on one occasion, Peanut got pulled in and was caught out of position. Whether or not it was just a fluke play or lack of prep time, it was more evident of other teams yesterday, as opposed to the Bears.
  5. As long as we have "play makers" on D, we'll be in good shape. I was extremely impressed with the performance they gave us yesterday. The Front 4 put so much pressure on Ryan. The beginning of the game had me a bit worried with the way ATL seemed to chip away, but I'm glad they got it together quickly.
  6. I think Briggs thrives in our D, but his timing is what gets me still. I want him here and want him to want to be here. But either way, he's here now and we need to support our team...even if he's a money hungry S.O.B.
  7. You have to pay him. He's earned it. Not just yesterday but his entire career.
  8. - Webb blocks like the defense has leprosy. When he decides to block, he holds. Not impressed by him whatsoever, actually disgusted. IMO, the biggest disappointment of the game. - Spencer/Louis, Garza and Williams did well. - Carmini did great and I can see his potential. - Thank God Spaeth was signed to make up for Webb's lack of everything. - Fotre...pay him. 'Nuff Said. - Cutler looked great and actually looked like he enjoyed himself. Good to see him smile and have positive body language so the announcers can quit busting his balls. - The WR core did a lot better than anticipated. Williams did well and I hope his injury is not serious. Knox did great. Hester popped that big gain by was silent other than that. - Defense was AWESOME!!! Tillman strip, Urlacher pick and a fumble return TD, Melton a pair of sacks!!!! Greta showing shutting down an explosive offense. They let up 6 pts...Shut down Ryan, Turner, White, and Jones. Bend but don't break worked great. THE ANTHEM SET THE TONE....GOD BLESS AMERICA AND THE BEARS.
  9. I have the game pass through NFL. IIt great and in HD, I hook the laptop up to the plasma and Wham-O...Da Bears!!!
  10. Hell Yeah. It looked like he was playing for his life!!! I was impressed, but what will he do against 1st string starters as opposed to 2nd stringers from Cleveland.
  11. I'd go with Evans or Walter. You have to think Baltimore has a good running game as does Houston so there will be 8 in the box to stop Rice and Foster respectively. Flacco and Shaub are good passers as well. I would lean more toward Walter because Johnson is across from him and drawing the majority of the pass coverage which leaves single coverage and zone coverage to his spot.
  12. I would drop a TE and keep a slot open for byes and injury adding. Unless of course, you're dropping one for Harvin.
  13. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,6170875.story Will Ta’ufo’ou was waived. The plan for now is using Adams in the backfield some. It's not to big of a deal to me since we rarely used a FB anyway.
  14. That is 3 minutes that I will never get back. I could've have made better use of that time cleaning my nasal cavity or clipping my toe nails.
  15. So were: Jarron Gilbert Jauquin Iglesias Marcus Harrison Michael Okwo Garrett Wolfe Dusty Dvoracek Unless your point was JA doesn't know how to draft talent, not sure what you're getting at.
  16. I'm going out on a limb here by saying signing Roy Williams. Hold on, not because of his "ability". I think this signing is going to light a fire under Knox and make him the receiver we need him to be. Williams talking his share of shit during training camp made Knox realize that this is where he wanted to be. Knox is going to have a great year, I believe.

    Typical BS

Then he shouldn't have signed then...that's all I'm saying.

I think the Bears were loyal. They gave him what HE wanted and what HE felt he deserved. He wanted a front loaded contract, knowing DAMN WELL what the last 3 years of the deal HE wanted would pay out. Bottom line: BRIGGS=WHINY B!TCH
  19. It makes me want to roll up the news paper, hit him in the nose and say "NO! Bad Briggs!!"

AZ, you hit the nail on the head. BowlingTwig, you didn't sign a contract so for you to shop your talents and skill as a driver elsewhere is not wrong. For Briggs to do it, when he's halfway through his contract is flat out wrong. I'm not sure what kind of driver you are, but for example let's say it's delivering medical supplies. If that medical supply shipping company relied on you to fill that position as the company was about to hit it's peak season. Would you think it's ok to sit there and almost hold the company hostage until they decided to pay you more or you would go workk for a rival company? It's just bad timing. I don't like that his contract is half up and he wants more money or a trade, but to do it a week before the season is deplorable.
  21. Even though I'm not in the league, can you post the rosters for the teams? I'd like to see who got who.
  22. John Shoop's play calling!!!! Player wise....any of the 22 or so starting QB's we've had since the late '80s
  23. Taylor was a matter of time and with Okoye's (NOT CHRISTIAN, Daventry...lol) emergence, HArrison isn't much of a surprise either.
  24. I'd go with Moore since you dropped Thomas for Forte.
