  1. Totally agree especially since we're 3 games behind GB since they have the tie breaker already. I'd love to be 4-3 going into the bye week and well rested for PHI. GB has it fairly easy over the next 4 (DEN, ATL, StL, MIN). I'm not to concerned about Detroit yet, but still they have a 2 game lead on us.
  2. Cutler hit the hash mark when he should have hit the sideline. I think if he'd let it rip instead of the loft it would've been 6. However 1 throw did lose the game...it was the culmimated crap cornucopia.
  3. We are essentially 4 games behind GB due to the tie breaker right now and the obvious 2 behind the Kitty Cats. We better start stringing some W's together or JA will squander a high pick.
  4. There was one block that needed to be thrown the entire return and that was the little shove of the punter. It was a great call but why the hell would someone on the return team even think about getting a holding penalty. That is of course whether it happened or not, unless there was "the magic hold from the DB in the grassy knoll"
  5. Seemed like the car was just grinding and grinding but just wouldn't turn over and start.
  6. Terra, you know as good as me that this organization is like a woman. We can say we're done but, no one will ever fu(k us more. As much as it pisses us off, it's in our blood to love them...good or now.
  7. Ah...I forgot the obvious!!!!...lol
  8. I've slept on it. Came to work and it's still crap. So here we go.... - Knox' clock is running out IMO. Drops, cutting routes off, gator-arming passes, bitching everytime and crying for a flag. I know this has become the norm, but dammit make a statement before you try for preferential treatment. I watched the Texans game and Andre Johnson was mugged and no flag...and no over dramatic flailing of the arms, battering the refs or any of that shit. By no means am I comparing the two, but whining and pouting will not get what you want. - If we get an actual #1 receiver, I think Sanzenbacher will be a good slot receiver. - If anyone should know the damn snap count in a three block radius of the stadium, it should be Garza. Omiyale had like 3 false starts and a holding, Williams ole'd Matthews, Webb sucks. This horse is dead, no reason to beat it anymore. They kept Cutler upright, but the penalties killed us. - Briggs played like he wants a new contract. Awesome game by the LB's I think with the exception of the Toasted Roach. Urlacher made a huge interception, to bad it was wasted by Hester and the O-Lines penalties. - The return at the end of the game was a great call by the ST Coordinator...too bad it fooled the refs too. Either way, it wasn't going to be worth 11 points. - Cutler made some shit throws and even some of the completions we're nice catches by the receivers...yes I said they made some nice catches...but let's not get too carried away. If you make a great 9 yard reception, don't forget it gets nullified if you drop the next 2. Go the other way like Davis, let it hit you dead in the numbers and drop it, then score the touchdown. - Believe it or not, I still believe in this team. Not the entire team but certain aspects of it. The Line and WR's until they put back to back good outtings together, I won't buy into it. The D played decent and, I think the crowd let the D down a little yesterday in the beginning. Rodgers took us out of it early with the air assault to Jennings, but a visiting QB should not have the silence required to hard count us the way he did. We let him come in our house play with our wife's titties and kicked our dog on the way out...and just let it happen. We need a better showing in all aspects of the game...some A LOT BETTER.
  9. Agree....we played like shit, but look at the teams we have played. It's gotta get better. Don't it?
  10. He'd trade 7 draft picks for a pot head running back who wears wedding dresses off the field....lol
  11. On the flip side, how many more have they drafted whose performance was a complete suckfest. I just don't want Forte hitting the market, plain and simple.
  12. Frank Omiyale replaced Carimi in the game and will hold down the position until his return. Frank can't hold anything...lol I hope your wrong about the score Noots. But as always, great read. Thanks
  13. Chris Williams only plays 1 position on the line...what about the other 4? We drafted Williams high based on JA's assessment. Which cost us a little. What cost us even more was the fact he didn't get the players needed to make this offense work. Yes we had a great line in 05-06 but there was a different system in place. You need the right pieces for something to work properly. Chris Williams is just a lugnut for a wheel, but when you don't get the other 4 lugnuts, the wheel comes flying off. Williams is just a piece of the problem, and not even the biggest piece.
  14. With all do respect Connor, I have absolutely NO FAITH in this front office from JA to Ted to anybody with the McCaskey name. I'm hoping they'll get the deal done, but you know as well as everybody else they have let us down in the past and present. History repeats itself. I'm just saying.
  15. Well, I did some research. Since 2006, the Bears in prime-time games (Thurday, Sun Night, MNF) are 13-10. Maybe it's the losses that we've endured during that period. I was surprised that our record was "that good". I would have figured it to be under .500. I didn't get into the 3pm games that Buck/Aikman or Simms/Nance would call. It just seems that when we lose, it's just that much worse...especially when people start pointing out every single f'ing flaw that happens in every aspect of the game.
  16. Curtis Enis had 1 good year too... so you JA built a good line for 1 year doesn't justify anything. Teams that make the Super Bowl should be reloading their weopons, not rebuilding them. That is common knowledge that "a football guy" should know...and JA obviously doesn't.
  17. All I'm saying is that "he could be happy with the RB's he has". Honest question, isn't it the GM who places the tag on players?
  18. If we resigned Kruetz,we wouldn't have gotten Spencer. So to say that was a move he wanted to make is absurd. We signed Spencer because we had to, not for an upgrade. Plus Spencer was signed as a C and couldn't beat out a guy who has played G his entire career. He didn't do anything.
  19. But at least it would be an effort. Not drafting one guy in Carimi and settling for Spencer because Olin called the bluff.
  20. I think he is as valuable to our offense as other high paid players. Look at someone like Gore who gets paid big $$ and compare him to Forte's production in our offense. I'm not saying CJ2K or AD money, but definately up there. Top 4-10 in pay I would say.
  21. Thank God. That is a nice gesture by the Prez...and he's a Sox fan!. Now, fix the budget and unemployment...lol.
  22. Agree to a point, but like the article I posted earlier, I can see him screwing the pooch with this one as a finger to Bear fans on the way out the door.
  23. I noticed that too...even in the 1st quarter this week, I said it looks like he's having fun....that shit changed quick in the second half. I would have slapped the sshit out of Martz after the game if I was Jay.
  24. You're right Lith. It seems like that. Thanksgiving too, MNF, even the Thursday game we lost a couple years ago to Todd Collins and the Skins. I'm scared too.
  25. It's one thing to try and save your job, but to basically call every Bear fan ignorant and blind is deplorable
