You guys are under-estimating Marinelli. Still, I was hoping we'd keep him as the Assistant Head Coach/Dline coach and bring in a different mind-set as the DC so we could run a variation of the Cover 2.

Sounds like a lot of PR coming out that wholesale changes aren't coming. I'll be freakin pissed if we at the very least don't bring in new offensive coaches and a new DC.

I'd do the trade over in a heart-beat.

Hester needs to be traded or put at WR. He isn't the Bears best return-man and he probably has value. I dont' mind keeping as a wide-out either though, if the value isn't right.

I would trade the two for a 1st and a 4th. I don't know if anyone in the league would make that deal though. And I really like Tillman.

But given our offensive problems, 20+ TD's and under 20 picks wouldn't be all that bad from our QB, imo.

I'd rather keep Jamar Williams, but Piso is a solid player and I'd welcome him on our club. It also depends on who our coach is and what defensive scheme we are running.

Congrats to Lance. He definitely had his worse game of the season but he's also pretty banged up IIRC. Still he's been one of the few guys to produce.

The problem is most Bear fans are stupid fans. I don't like saying it but its true and they are ignorant and throw Jay under the bus harder than most cities. They did the same to Rex and it was sickening.

Realistically there are about 7 or 8 and it could be even more than that. But he's also had some that could have been picked where he shouldn't. He hasn't been great, but he hasn't been as bad as most have said.

Precisely. If we were going to win, I wanted to win because of Jay and our young wide-outs and we won because of that.

Ogunleye needs to go. The Bears need to find a way to rejuvenate the Dline.

Injuries allowed the Bears to get Williams in a better spot, have better oline play and allow Jay to have his favorite weapon on the field (DA) and because of it the team was able to perform offensively. Defensively, well they still stink. Come on, Jay Cutler finally gets time, finally has some plays where he's allowed to play-action effectively and roll-out of the pocket and he ends up throwing 4 TDs vs 1 pick.

Hester will be traded. His value as a special teamser isn't that special when you have Manning/Knox/Bennett all fully capable of being pretty damn good. And he isn't near the dynamic receiver that DA. Basically put, Hester is officially on the block, imo and I'm 100% on board with that idea.

Are you guys kidding me. This is a guy being a leader. He's trying to take the blame instead of have it fall on his teammates. He's just trying to lead and has said many a times how the Bears stink. Something Urlacher refuses to do.

Too many people act as if this was the Bears mistake. The guy isn't any good and he was a stupid pick by Angelo. I said it when we picked him and I hear too many people tell us how he should still be on the Bears cause he's so "great".

If Marinelli couldn't do it, no one can. And don't give me this, Marinelli didn't do much for the team. Marinelli has done it with the best of them and is so well respected when it comes to coaching the line that you have to said with Rob on this. Harris should go and he does have a cap-friendly deal, if we cut him there is no hit. If we don't, he makes 8 or 9M. I forget which, but I think it is 9M cash.
