  1. Im around basically any time the next 2 days so Ill just try and check in.
  2. Ill be around this afternoon and night, just post a time if that works Matt
  3. Im here for a few hours today, then Ill be back around every day/night starting Monday.
  4. Im facing Redskins, so gotta figure out a time. Im probably unavailable the 31 and 1st, but after that i can play almost any time.
  5. Dont sim. The implications of "Playoffs will be on hold for holidays" includes through New Years. I am going to be gone New Years eve and maybe a day or 2 after with absolutely no internet access. There is no reason to rush. If Kev plays his game, the next week isnt going anywhere because we have to wait on Colts and potentially me. So no reason to sim for Kev, when we wont be going far anyways. If Steve and Brich want to play, they can have a nice exhibition game.
  6. Yeah 10-7 game was pretty interesting. In fact Rodgers scored both td's. He threw a pick for a td and threw a pass for a td. It was a good warm up for the playoffs, gives me a few things to work on.
  7. Okay im around, but is there any chance we could play our game after Survivor? Im already 2/3 of the way through it at this point.
  8. Okay im around just turned off my playstation. Post or send me a message if the sim happens.
  9. yeah i should be around, depending on if the bears play haha
  10. Oh and thanks Jason for letting us use the server space. If you need anything, ask Steve hes a really great guy and will gladly be your helper monkey.
  11. I guess it depends on your definition of "great." Since 1964 Notre Dame has had 7 coaches (not counting O'Leary or Kent Baer) In terms of winning pct they rank: 1) 1964–74 Ara Parseghian 11 95–17–4 .836 2) 1986–96 Lou Holtz 11 100–30–2 .765 3) 1975–80 Dan Devine 6 53–16–1 .764 4) 1997–2001 Bob Davie 5 35–25 .583 5) 2002–2004 Tyrone Willingham 3 21-15 .583 6) 2005–present Charlie Weis 4 29–21 .580 7) 1981–85 Gerry Faust 5 30–26–1 .535 To me it seems Weis has been pretty average, both Davie and Willingham were considered "failures" and they have slightly better winning percentages. He may turn it around, but if you are the head coach of ND and you have any skill you should be winning an average of 70% of your games.
  12. Cutler didnt even go to Georgia, so it makes absolutely no sense that Georgia should be punished for the actions of a Vanderbilt alum.
  13. Buenning is a solid guard who should be able to play right away provided he is healthy. He comes from the Wisconsin system that places a premium on the offensive line. Should become one of the better run blockers on our team right away (once again provided there are no health concerns.)
  14. This news makes me sad. Ill root for Orton and hope that he wins the Super Bowl and goes to the Pro Bowl, just in my heart of hearts I feel that wont be the case.
  15. Bought it during lunch, cant wait to get home and actually play it. (PS3)
  16. I think you may have misread my post. I didnt say he had been involved more prior to last year, just that they did not use him as much as they could have. Last year MSU ran for 2500 yards and only passed for 2800 yards. They had 580 carries, compared to 230 receptions. Davis's 35 receptions represents 15% of the total receptions in that entire offense. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=160704 As you can see it wasnt until the second half of the season they actually started to really get him the ball multiple times a game. The first 8 games he only had more than 2 receptions one time, the last 5 games he never had less than 3. In those last 5 games he scoured 3 of his 6 touchdowns and had more than half of his yards. If the offense uses him more in the first half of the season he probably puts up much better numbers.
  17. The fact he played for Dantonio and had no problems makes me think the character concerns arent really a big deal. If you watched the guy play in college you could see he had skills, problem was that MSU was some what of a running team last year and didnt really get Davis involved as much as they could have.
