All I ask is for consistancy. Last year Orton sucked, but at least he was consistant. This year, Grossman is almost as streaky as Juan Uribe, for the white sox. I really hope Grossman steps it up.

Finally, a good throw by Rex. Lets see more of that. Not anymore of that Chicken Shit you've been throwing. Grossman is complete garbage today. He is scared out there. I think it is a fact, he can't handle pressure. The only good thing Grossman has done today is hold onto the ball. This is really pissing me off. Had Muhammed wide open. wow, talk about horrible play calling. you basically call the same play 3 times in a row, for a net gain of about 2 yards. I would have liked to see Benson in, because he can jump over the line. beats me. Benson is known for being able to jump over the line, and getting in. I am confused as hell. Now another freaking commercial.

Another thing, we are facing one of the worst defenses in the NFL, and can't even get into scoring position. Only two postives today, the running game, and the defense. Everything else has been garbage.

Today the Grossman from Arizona and Miami has showed up. I don't know what to think anymore. He is all jumpy back there, and making horrible throws. Part of it is on turner though, the passing plays he has called have been pretty bad so far. But still, I don't know what to think about Grossman anymore. One day he is a stud, the next he is a dud.

I never realized what Mike Brown meant to this team. With him no one could run against us. Without him, we are getting killed in the run game. Mark Anderson owns D'Brick. Anderson owned D'Brick at the senior bowl, and he is owning him now!!! a 20 yard run ruined because you can't hold onto the ball. Second straight week TJ has fumbled...

CB's need to play up, with saftey help deep. All the Jets are doing now are those pussy ass curls. We needed a play, and Urlacher made one! Now lets capitalize!

todd johnson. wtf are you doing? You better hope Tillman is all right. Why in gods name would you hit your own teammate? This is why Todd Johnson is a backup.

Lovie Extension? First will come Angelo, then Lovie
BearSox replied to southsider2k5's topic in Soldier Field
I think the Cards would be a better fit though. They already have a solid O, except for the O-Line. And then Rivera can build the defense from scratch, practically. No matter what team he goes to, I can bet anyone that the top FA's on his list would be Lance Briggs and Ian Scott. -

oh yeah, he is as good as gone in the offseason. He is moving onto head coaching. Maybe to the Cards? -

Oh, I highly doubt Lovie will be going anywhere. I think he will stay with the Bears until this team is finally old and sucks, which won't happen for another 5+ years, hopefully. And then it will be the rebuilding process once again. It is the life cycle of the NFL. -
agreed. But the game in New England will be the toughest game we will play all year.

GO BEARS!!! Show New York who the boss is!

Sounds like a plan to me. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hester pull a Rashied Davis in the offseason. Who knows, he could be a Moss, Smith type of reciever with the speed he has, and those moves. Only question, can he take a hit thought?

Actually I wanted Grossman to stay in, because he didn't suck up the place. He looked like a pro QB the first half, believe it or not. I don't care if you do, or don't believe me, but I wasn't calling for Griese.

Moose will get 15 yards for next TD celebration
BearSox replied to southsider2k5's topic in Soldier Field
How about giving your teammates high fives and hugs. And if you make a play on the field, I have no problem with pumping fists, showing off the guns, and a little pumped up roar to cheer up the crowd, or if away, quiet them. -
No. I said if he is stinking up the place, and we are down, a QB change might be needed. BUT, if he is in fact doing good, he should stay. It didn't matter to me if we were winning or lossing at half time, as long as Grossman was playing good. And his 1st half stats were pretty good. Not great, or bad, but good.

You woman. Who goes to bed durring a Bears game? That's why people invented coffee!

No need for me to eat crow... Exactly what I said would happen. If he plays good, no need for a QB contreversy!

First I thought Grossman just had bad mechanics with the 7 step drop, sling the ball sidearmed to where ever on his back foot. But now I know all this time he has been afraid to get hit. In the Cards, Dolphins, and beggining of tonights game, they brought the pressure on Grossman. And Grossman would get scared and fling the ball to wherever. But after that first drive, the coachs settled Grossman down somehow. Someone or something just gave him a boost of confidence. After that first series, he started to drop back, feel where the pressure was comming from, and step up and throw a strike overhand to his reciever. This crow is tasting really good because I thought he was going to have a bad game, and I was right for the 1st quarter. But he really stepped it up. Last night was by far Grossman's best game as an NFL QB because he matured a ton. Lets hope he can keep it up. And we now know we have another threat with Mark Bradley. This has turned into a mediocre reciever corps to a pretty good one, if everyone can stay healthy. And Moose, cover up the freaking ball for now on!
