  1. Also, Thomas Jones is 30 going on 31. And Benson is 24, I think. Benson will not be going anywhere for a while now. Better get used to it.
  2. oh puh-lease. I am sure KC wants LJ gone since he was upset about never getting carries his first couple of seasons. What about Benson celebrating with the team after his touchdown. And on the sideline when he was discussing plays with Jones, and giving hugs to the RB coach and Muhammed? I am sure they don't like him. He is a cancer!
  3. they aren't calling for the deep ball all the time. You know Berrian isn't the only reciever out there. They usually have Berrian or someone run a fly, and some other player(s) run some in's or out's. Res has been looking deep first. I hate it when people blame Turner for calling the deepball, when there is more then one route being ran.
  4. 2.8 passer rating vs. the 31st ranked passing defense. How do you explain that seeing how you are a Sexy Rexy fan boy?
  5. If Grossman is replaced, he will most likely be cut in the offseason. Since there are no QB's out on the market, I would have to think the Bears draft someone in either the 1st or 2nd round, and it would hopefully be someone who could see over the line of scrimage. Then Griese would start for the next year or two while whoever the Bears drafted learns the system. I would want Brian Brohm, but he is staying for his senior year. But remember, this is only IF Grossman gets benched. and punt returners.
  6. First off, let's congratulate the Bears on the 2nd straight division title! But lets hope Tommie Harris and Nathan Vasher are both healthy. DEFENSE: Very inconsistant. The front 4 had a lot more pressure at times today then they have had in the past few weeks, but at points during the game it disappeared. The run D was , but they were missing Tommie Harris which didn't help. And the secondary was pretty good, except they got picked apart by Brooks Bollinger at the end. Still needs improvement. OFFENSE: Besides the running of Cedric Benson and Thomas Jones, there was practically no offense. Grossman had a staggering 1-2 QB rating against the 31st rank offense. Enough said. SPECIAL TEAMS: Devin Hester, Robbie Gould, Brad Maynard... do I need to say anything else? Overall, Grossman's job is surely in jeopardy now. He's got basically the first half of the Rams game to get something going next Monday night game. The Rams aren't some garbage team either, if the Bears go to St. Louis and play the way they did today, the Bears are going to get their asses handed to them.
  7. So does that mean he sucks, or had a "bad game?"
  8. True that. And who said that no one the team likes him? Him and Moose looked like they were from broke-back mountain
  9. The Arizona game was a perfect weather, and against Miami it was no more then like 50 degrees.
  10. Grossman with an insane QB rating of of 1!!!!!!!!!!! He is the second comming of Brett Farve!
  11. OMG!!! I LOVE DEVIN HESTER!!! 4 TD's THIS YEAR!!!
  12. Had Benson WIDE OPEN. Holy crap, Grossman has horrible decision.
  13. You think Thomas Jones was a perfect blocker in his first couple of seasons? NO! He still isn't that great, but he knows how to pick up the blitz. Give Benson time... I found this interesting, Cedric Benson's old scouting report for Scott Wright at NLFDC The Bears new what they were getting when they drafted Benson. A powerful workhorse with attitude problems. I just highlated the minor league baseball because it was Him and Ricky Williams were baseball players. Also, the other day I was watching Inside the NFL on HBO. It showed a clip, a clip of Benson discussing running with Jones. They were talking about how to run against the Pats D. This just shows, off the field, not friends, on the field, friends. Your mad love for Benson is starting to piss me off. Thomas Jones and Cedric Benson are both good backs. No one purposly injured Benson. ENOUGH!!!!!!
  14. Merriman would be a DE in this system and is a juicer, Pacman has been doing better then Rolle and neither of them were needs and would have been reaches at no. 4, Cadillac Williams didn't really fit the Bears description of a RB, and Mike Willams shouldn't have even gone top 20. And since the Bears couldn't trade down, who else were they supposed to pick? Cedric Benson is a perfect Bear back. He is a big back, runs up the middle between the tackles, and likes to run people over. His only problem is that he has what L.J. had, and that is not knowing when to shut up.
  15. The only problem is that they both want to be the full-time back. Most teams just have the power back, and the change of pace back. I really think that Jones will be traded next season, and that the Bears are gonna draft someone in the 3rd or 4th round or sign someone like Chris Brown in free agency.
  16. are you benson's agent or something? In Benson's Defense, he did get early in TC. But so did T.J. I personally feel that Benson will become a good back, once he learns how to block and pick up the blitz better. But right now, we need him and Jones for this time of the year.
  17. Vick!? Are you kidding me? Maybe as a running back
  18. Being thrown into to an offense with no weapons, except the run game, in his rookie season. Not a whole lot of 4th round picks could succeed as well as he did last year, IMO.
  19. How the hell did I forget Kreutz?
  20. I hate all these people bashing Orton. IMO, Orton will be a decent, at worst, starter. He is going to be a fine back-up. Not a whole lot of rookie QB's could have done better then Orton last year. Look who he had as his targets: Moose, Gage, and Clark.
  21. Who are some possible Bear Pro-Bowlers do you think? Here is my list... John Tait Brian Urlacher Tommie Harris Lance Briggs Nathan Vasher/Charles Tillman (both of them deserve it) Robbie Gould Devin Hester
