So it looks like we are locked in at #18 and the only possible move is dropping to #19 with a PIT loss. The Rams have #20 locked up as the best team not to make the playoffs. We look to be 2nd in that race. The Raiders loss would be helpful for our 2nd round pick from them. They would be tied with NYJ, TB, ATL, and potentially DAL and IND at 7-9. Since NYJ has the worst SOS, they get the best first round pick, but then the pick rotate and the Raiders would get the best 2nd round pick among 7-9 teams (Pick #44), and we would have pick 50-52 depending on the outcome of the PIT and LAR games. 12. NYJ 7-9 .472 SOS 13. TB 7-9 .504 SOS 14. ATL 7-9 .545 SOS 15. OAK 7-8 .478 SOS (loss would drop them to 13th) 16. DAL 7-8 .480 SOS 17. IND 7-8 .490 SOS 18. CHI 8-8 .506 SOS 19. PIT 8-7 .500 SOS 20. LAR 8-7 .539 SOS -------------------- 21. PHI 8-7 .457 SOS 22. TEN 8-7 .492 SOS So we traded #18 for #44, and we pick again between 50-52.

How bad was our offense? Our O-Line is ranked 31st overall. Trubisky is ranked 28th at -11.7%. Montgomery has a -17.1% DVOA thru Week 16. The 3rd worst or 40th ranked RB in the league. Talk about an anemic run game. Burton was the worst TE in the league with a -54.1% DVOA. That is historically low, like the worst TE performance in 20 years. You almost can't play any worse at that position. Robinson was the 39th ranked WR with a 1.8% DVOA. Miller was 60th at -7.3%. With 32 teams, we literally have the worst tandem WR1 and WR2 in the league in DVOA. Someone needs to be held accountable for this train wreck.

I will give them credit, they are looking much better with the run plays being called. Some adjustments have been made because Montgomery wasn't getting hit behind the LOS. Once he gets through the hole, he gets 7-10 yards every time. He is fun to watch. The O-Line was mauling. I would like to see that the rest of the game.

Holy crap a TD scoring drive. They run the ball down the Vikings throats, with only one pass, and Montgomery finishes it off with a crazy 14-yard TD run where he carried 4 defenders with him for 5 yards into the end zone. This needs to be the team's identity on offense, smashmouth football that sets up the play action pass game. Montgomery was dominant on this drive and the O-Line did great giving him some room and time to get to the 2nd level.

A long throw down field, first read, Trubisky overthrows Wims by 6 feet and behind him. Hilariously bad at this point. His accuracy past 5 yards is absolutely atrocious. I hope this is Trubisky's last game as a Bear. He just doesn't have it. It sucks because we get to watch Mahomes and Watson tear it up for the next 15-20 years. We need to cut sling now and move on from this huge mistake.
