  1. The Bears are 5-3 playing at home (2-1), and the Giants are 2-7 (0-5 on the road), yet the Bears are only favored by 3? I fear that the refs will be heavily involved in this game. This shouldn't be a close game. Without Skattebo, the Giants leading rusher was Dart. So I would hope this makes it a little easier for the defense. I am going with Bears 30-17.
  2. What may have been missed was Johnson calling a timeout when the Bengals had the ball before they scored the TD. Flus would never have done that.
  3. There are a few others he hit too in regards to the TDs and receptions.
  4. 5-3 now with the Giants up next, at home. Have to take care of business at home before the schedule gets really tough. 10 New York Giants - WIN (Giants have allowed 34, 38, and 33 in their last 3, and the Bears just scored 47). 11 @ Minnesota Vikings - TOSS UP 12 Pittsburgh Steelers - TOSS UP 13 @ Philadelphia Eagles - LOSS 14 @ Green Bay Packers - TOSS UP 15 Cleveland Browns - WIN (Only scoring 16.1 ppg) 16 Green Bay Packers - TOSS UP 17 @ San Francisco 49ers - TOSS UP (Only scoring 20.7 ppg) 18 Detroit Lions - LOSS
  5. Spot on so far, and even my spidey senses from the offseason felt like this Cincy game was going to be a shootout. Not exactly how I envisioned it back then, but the outcome was the same.
  6. It's November, and guess what? Special Teams is still a problem. When you get kicks blocked, continually hold on your own kick returns or don't even get to the 30, while allowing onside kicks and KR TDs, it is coaching. Hightower needs to go. Too many games decided by officials and Special Teams, and the Bears are not good enough to overcome them every week.
  7. Caleb is the first player in NFL history with +250 passing yards, +50 rushing yards, and 20+ receiving yards in a game, ever.
  8. Today: Loveland 6 receptions for 118 yards and 2 TDs. Tyler Warren 5 receptions for 26 yards. Warren the last 2 games, 10-79, 0 TD.
  9. Flacco passed for 470 yards and lost. That has to be a record.
  10. Yeah, this is worse. That was one play, this was a mix of Special Teams, Defense, and Officials.
  11. Should've been up by 21. This is unbelieveable.
  12. You have to fire Hightower after this game.
  13. Flacco has 375 Passing Yards, this is insane how bad this defense is.
  14. Yeah there is no way that would stand if Edmunds was a receiver and was touched before he had possession. That makes no sense, so if a DB is touching a player who catches the ball, then falls to the ground, that player is now down by contact?
  15. The defense has to force the Bengals to burn some clock.
  16. He is either out or it is a TD, he didn't fumble forward. Is this a John Fox 2.0 moment?
  17. In the 4th Quarter, Bears up by 7, Vikings up by 7 (over Lions), Panthers up 7 (over Packers).
  18. The minute he gets pressure, he is no longer keeping his eyes up.
