  1. Nix has looked really good of late. He is probably winning the ROY. I never understood the Daniels hype outside of the Commanders record. Nix will lead all rookie QB in stats by the end of the year and may end up with 4K passing yards and 30+ TDs, very Stroud-like rookie year. He was my 2nd favorite QB coming out after Caleb.
  2. Oh and Bo Nix has 9 TD and 1 INT in his last 4 games, which includes games against KC, BAL, and ATL. 👀 Coaching matters.

btw, coming into this game, Williams had a 122.5 Passer Rating when targeting Kmet, and he was 3-3 for 42 yards, so I assume that went up. Allen was 89.3, but 4-8 for 41 yds will definitely drop that down. Either way, there will be at least a 35 pt Passer Rating difference between targeting Kmet and Allen, yet Allen sees 2-3x the targets per game.

This move seems to have backfired on Poles. A waste of a 4th round pick and roster spot. Allen has been a liability and for some reason Caleb has targeted him a ton. He has 30 receptions on 56 targets with several drops. Kmet has 32 receptions on 37 targets. So 2 more receptions with 19 fewer targets. Allen also missed 2 games, so those numbers would be even higher if he didn't. It almost feels like Caleb feels obligated to throw the ball to Allen even though there are much more efficient options. Allen should be the 4th option, not the 1st or 2nd one.
  5. Caleb had his 4th best Passer Rating of 95.0, 2nd best Comp% at 74.2, and 3rd highest Y/A at 7.5, and his best rushing day with 70 yards. Now up to 2,016 Passing Yards on the season with 306 rushing yards. Now on pace for 3,427 passing yards and 521 rushing yards. He would need to average 260 passing yards per game to break Erik Kramer's team record. Still a possibility, but with every game, it is becoming more and more unlikely. He needs 178 passing yards and 3 TDs to become the Bears rookie single season leader. He already holds the completions record with 201 passing Trubisky today. He needs 44 more passing attempts to pass Kyle Orton.
  6. Update after the lovely weekly Bears loss: Surprises: 1. WSH 7-4 (4-13) +3 wins 2. LAC 7-3 (5-12) +2 wins 3. ARZ 6-4 (4-13) +2 wins 4. MIN 8-2 (7-10) +1 win 5. CAR 3-7 (2-15) +1 win Disappointments: 1. CLE 2-8 (11-6) +2 losses 2. DAL 3-6* (12-5) +1 loss 3. JAX 2-9 (9-8) +1 loss 4. MIA 4-6* (11-6) +0 losses 5. SF 5-5 (12-5) +0 losses Revised based on last year's records compared to current records. That drops the Bears out for now.
  7. Crazy that Carolina's 2nd rounder may end up worse than the Bears own pick.

The same number of losses: 63-30 LaFleur 14-30 Eberloss Just 49 fewer wins.
  9. What more do you need to see? How many more games are going to lose because of coaching? No team pulls losses from the jaws of victory like the Bears. This one, at home, against your supposed #1 rivals, for a chance to stay in the playoff hunt. Instead you lose in another miserable fashion to lose your 4th straight. Btw, GB blocked a FG kick last week to win, so you had to know they were good at it and should not have taken any risks with a long kick, but what do I know. I am so sick of Flus, more than any coach that I can remember. Loved Lovie, didn't mind Nagy, just didn't like his play calling, but Flus is on a whole nother level of suck. We are now in Year 3 of the rebuild that looks like Year 1.
  10. Why run the clock down, it was 2nd down with 30+ secs left. Run at least another play before kicking. Another Flus flub. Worst Coach in Bears history but let's keep running him out there.
  11. He was much better today, 23-31 for 74.2% with a few drops.
  12. Sure, the season is over for the playoffs, and this likely seals the deal with Flus, he has to go. Now it is all about Caleb's development with Brown for the remainder of the season. At 4-6 and 3 games back, they would have to basically win out, or go at least 6-1 to have a chance due to tiebreakers. They will be lucky to win one more.
  13. Of course, a blocked FG to lose the game. I have no clue why they didn't run it again to gain a few more yards on 2nd down. Let the time run down to 3 seconds. freakin so Bears right there. Just fire Flus now, what is the point?
  14. Last offensive drive, need about 38 yards for easier FG and back to back sacks, now 3rd and 19, 2 minute warning and need about 47 yards for a FG.
  15. Packers back up after another ez drive to score another TD. Bears down by 1 with 3 mins left, 20-19.
  16. Of course, Flus' defense allows another 50+ yard play.
  17. 4 mins left, Packers get the ball back needing 78 yards to win. Do not get conservative here Flus.
  18. Bears defense stops GB on 4th and goal at the 2, up by 5 with 11 mins left. Need at least a FG here.
  19. Holy crap, Bears have a lead? Only 7 seconds left in the half.
  20. Clock management? What? Eberflus running the clock down AND using a timeout properly? What world is this? 3rd and goal at the 1 with 2 timeouts.
  21. Caleb finally taking off instead of taking sacks, up to 60 rushing yards in the first half. Easy first downs. If they are going to overcommit, you have to take advantage of it. Brown's play calling has been better than Waldron's so far. Only 2 bad play calls so far. Waldron would've had 10 by now.
  22. Holy crap, a Kmet target, reception, and first down. Amazing how that works.
  23. Smith with a goal line INT on Love. He is sooo much better than Stevenson. Hopefully they allow him to start instead of Stevenson going forward.
  24. This defense is so frustrating too. 2 great run stops, then you play 10 yards off every receiver like they have the plague for an easy long 3rd down conversion.
