There's about 12 guys on my coaching wish list, and Andy Reid is not one of them. Don't like going to retread route unless it's for a guy like Holmgren. Maybe even Jon Gruden. Mike McCoy and Greg Roman would top my list as of this moment. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bill Obrien's name pop up a ton, if Lovie gets canned. Part of that Patriot way. I don't know why you wouldn't like targeting a coordinator, seeing as how that's where most new HC's come from.

He also hasn't won a playoff game since 2008, and had a team last year that was bloviating about being a Dream Team that wound up falling apart at the end of the season. It's a "What have you done for me lately" league, and lately, he's been anything but elite.
-
Elite coach? The man's about to be fired. If he was so elite, you'd think his teams would be a little better than they have been, no?
-
Started the year 7-1. Absolutely no excuses not to make the playoffs. Nobody to blame but ourselves. They had a cakewalk easy ass schedule to start the season and when the competition came, they laid an egg. And one other thing.. Mike Tice... Has there been any OC who's done less with more talented skill position players than the Bears? The offense was suppose to get better with Marshall, Jeffery, and Forte, and they did the exact opposite. We found out Mike Martz was a much better OC than most people gave him credit for. I put a ton of the blame on Tice, but you also have to remember that Lovie is the moron who gave this man the position in the first place. He has no idea about what offense is in this league, it's about time they got someone who did.

I think you're going to be disappointed because he's probably coming back..
-
God no. Why would we want a guy that just got fired after yet another year of disappointment? His teams have imploded more times than the Bears have in recent years. I'm not sure what's to like about him being a head coach. He's not very good.
-
You bet he does. Another year stuck in mediocrity without an offense looks to be on the horizon. I'M SO HAPPY WE WON TODAY.. Can you tell how excited I am?!
-
3rd and 4 and we run a "Go route"?
-
Idiot Briggs and whoever else was in on the Stafford hit. You know it's going to get called and you do it anyways. That's an automatic. You can't lower your head into a QB that's sliding. Idiots. Got what they deserved there.

3rd blown timeout today.. And Kellen Davis with the typical drop on an opportunity for a big play.
-
This one aint over.
-
Typical Bears. Prevent defense at the end of the half, allowing teams to easily get in position for points. Fail..
-
That's a bad drop by Jeffery. He has to catch that.
-
2nd wasted timeout in one half.. Unbelievable.
-
I don't remember it happening with Ron Turner. Martz and Tice both have to get their calls relayed through their QB coaches. Not sure if Turner was the same way or not.

Every game. It's not even just some of the time. It's every damn game. Shit gets old.
-
This offense.. Good lord.
-
I'm feeling pretty down with all the media reporting that Lovie Smith's job is safe win or lose against Detroit today.. Makes me sick to my stomach knowing there will probably be another wasted year spent in mediocrity and no offense to speak of.. I just hope that none of it is true.

I haven't been a fan of either starting safety on the Bears for various reasons, but since Conte and Wright started playing next to each other, they have definitely given some stability to the position. I think Major Wright is sort of a dumb ass, and I still haven't forgiven him for getting Urlacher injured last year. Both guys always seem to have nagging injuries every year that causes them to miss time, though it's been Conte more so lately.
-
Melton making it to the pro bowl just shows how weak the position is in the NFC. He had a solid year, but disappears too much to my liking.. especially late in the year. I don't vision him as an Elite level DT.
-
Jennings has been the best all around cornerback in football this year in my opinion.

I think the Bears will end up in the playoffs because I don't see Minnesota beating a GB team that's on fire right now, and I don't see the Detroit Lions being smart enough to finish out a game. Expect to see a lot of balls thrown in the direction of Calvin Johnson, and the more passes thrown, the more opportunities for the defense to get turnovers. Unless they just absolutely lay down and die like they did in SF, It's going to be tough for the Bears not to win this game.
-
He's athletic, but gets pushed around too much. Not sure what his position is yet. He has a guard type body, but athletic enough to play either tackle position. I'd give him another offseason before I judge him. Yesterday he was good/bad in some areas, but was an improvement over the last few weeks.
-
We will just get our asses handed to us by GB and SF again if we get in. I don't know why anyone would actually want to watch that. I only want us to make the postseason if Lovie Smith is fired regardless. If he gets to stay, then I don't want any part of the playoffs. Of course I have no way of knowing this until after the fact, I'm going to have to hope for a Detroit win to make it tougher for him to keep his job.

We need a LT and a RT too so who do you pick?

Urlacher was bigger and faster than Ogletree coming out of college. Though Urlacher may have been the most athletically gifted inside linebacker of all time, so that's not the worst thing in the world for Ogletree. I think he's going to be a stud, and if the Bears have a shot at him, they should go after him.
