IF they were really trying to move Jay, then trading B because he bad mouthed Jay wouldn't make any sense. I believe the report put out there saying that he's rubbed the staff the wrong way since they got here. The past has somethings to do with it, but I think it stretched beyond that into what was going on here in 2015.

Aaron Leming did say he heard it would be competition for Mundy so there's that. Parker also ranked real low as well. Somewhat baffling considering the Chiefs ranked 2nd in pass defense. I trust Fox and Donatell though, those guys are 2 of the best when it comes to the secondary. Parker has an intriguing skill set that could be molded into a really good FS. 6 foot, 4.3 speed, former corner, spent some time in Seattle.

I'd love to trade down if we don't have any pressing needs that "Make sense" at 7. Erik Kendricks is a guy I really like, but not worth a top 10 pick and won't fall to the 2R.

Basing it on his potential. I think calling him a #3 because he plays the slot is a bit off. I know where you're coming from, but I think he's solid #2 option in the sense of WRs. Do we also add a CB? If not I'd probably go Waynes at 7. I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't like Cooper or White though.

Can't really prove yourself without playing time though. They'll add another one, but think it'll be later in the draft.

IMO, we could see AJ/Royal/Wilson as our guys. With Bennett and Forte around, and the Bears looking to run more, Wilson isn't a bad 5th option. Wouldn't be shocked to see a mid round WR though. Or perhaps they look to add another TE in the mid rounds instead which could make Wilson the 6th option on a team looking to run the ball more. Perhaps both if they do enough to the defensive side of the ball in FA. I like Ben Koyack a lot as a guy who has similar run blocking capabilities to Virgil Green, and has some upside as a pass catcher. Nick O'Leary fits that bill too. If the WF draft plays out the way it does I'd be torn between Ty Washington(WR), Koyack, and O'Leary.

Colts signed Kendall Langford. Hopefully that signing, along with Paea to Washington wipes those 2 out of the Knighton race.

Foles reminds me a lot of McCown. He got to destroy a lot of the same awful defenses McCown did in 2013, then was dreadful the following year.

Ya, I'm right there with you on pretty much all of those. Knighton, Culliver, and Moore have long been the 3 guys I wanted. Ron Parker has become rather intriguing to me after looking into him, and with an apparent disconnect between Moore and the Bears I'd gladly welcome him over Moore. I'll add the Oakland center to my wish list.

Brandon Marshall wasn't a need at that time? I just think the whole "Catering to Jay" thing has always been really silly, and I'm surprised those that thought that aren't making the same "Conspiracy theory" now that we have a coaching staff everyone likes. I'm glad we aren't hearing it, but I still get a good chuckle out of it.

Yup.... Gase and Cutler are buddies, Cutler openly wanted to work with the QB coach in the past, and now probably Royal....Shocked there aren't people saying they're catering to Jay, in fact I've heard just the opposite.
