The guy is a beast and can be considered BPA. ILB is also somewhat a need since Trevathan can possibly miss half the season and Freemans age/contract shows he won't be around after his contract expires after this season. It is a dark horse pick, but Chicago likes its great LB tradition and he can carry on the legacy. Report

Not that it means a hill of beans but I'd be extremely very much good with this guy joining the team!!! Report

I'd be curious to see in the last two years of the players that visited pre-draft were actually drafted. Or at the very least what the trend of players there were. Like last year, did they have a lot of OLBs visit (drafting Floyd) and the year before that WRs when they drafted White? Or was it all a bunch of smoke and mirrors? Report

Since being with the Bears, Trevathan has been injured three times (that we know of). Two knee injuries (slight one in TC last year and the season ender in November) and a severe thumb injury in October. Apparently he's had quite the injury history while in Denver. And remember, Pace loves him some BPA. Who among us picked Floyd last year with McPhee, Young and Houston already on the roster? Speaking of the season ender knee issue; then there's this (below). http://www.espn.com/blog/chicago-bears/pos...table-to-return Report
March 22, 20178 yr comment_163317 Even using the BPA logic I don't think Foster is that guy unless they trade down. With Freeman, Trev, and Kwikowski, I would be dissapointed with the pick. Report
March 22, 20178 yr comment_163332 Side note: If everyone is scared off because of his combine explosion at the hospital, or whatever it was, and he slipped to the second round (won't happen), I'd be pissed if the Bears DIDN'T draft him. That would be amazing value. Report
