adam
Here we go, I am so pumped for this game. The last 4 games have been so demoralizing watching Glennon. I know there will be some ups and downs, but I am excited to see the kid play. I just hope they don't do what they did in the last preseason game and run 10+ straight plays with Trubisky handing off to start the game. Instead, we need a bootleg or some movement where he only has to read half the field. The threat of him running and his mobility are going to give the receivers more room for intermediate routes. Those were taken away with Glennon behind center. GO BEARS! Bears 27 - Viqueens 17 The Trubisky Era starts with a win!
adam
A busy day for Chicago sports, Cubs, Hawks, then Bears. Looks like Bradford will play.
'TD'
The Bears may not win, Trubisky may not set the world on fire, but tonight is his first step to greatness. As long as he stays healthy, I think he will be in the top 5 QB's in the NFL discussion in a couple years. Once he gets some tools to work with. 'TD'
That first down pass was perfect on 3rd down to start the game.
Alaskan Grizzly
I look for Shaheen to step up tonight. This... and Deonte Thompson are my top receiving picks.
Bears4Ever_34
Jesus. Cody Whitehair is garbage this year. Ruined a great drive by Trubisky with a hold.
jason
Jesus. Cody Whitehair is garbage this year. Ruined a great drive by Trubisky with a hold. How many holding calls is that for him this year? Seems like he's good for one a game. That's a recipe for disaster when we already know Leno and Massie are each going to have at least one boneheaded play themselves. Those mistakes kill drives, just like they did tonight. Bears4Ever_34
That drive ruined, courtesy of John Fox. How can you be so awful at clock management?
Bears4Ever_34
Does Pat O'Donell ever land a punt inside the 10 yard line?
'TD'
The Bears will never need that time out....
Alaskan Grizzly
Is John Fox a rookie coach? Letting Trubisky go out and get a delay of game call? WTF?
jason
What we know so far, rolling out to the right is a great thing for Trubisky, and suddenly the Bears have a play-action game. He throws absolute bullets while on the move.
Alaskan Grizzly
For the record, I love me some Christian Jones.

jason
Is there such a thing as a coverage safety? I have never heard it uttered before. Floyd should treat the secondary to dinner for that one.
Alaskan Grizzly
Why the hell is our JV team better than the Varsity? Lol
Bears4Ever_34
Blocking needs to be better up front in the run game. Howard needs to get going. Can't afford to go three and out after turning Minnesota over.
jason
Why the hell is our JV team better than the Varsity? Lol Because they're moving the pocket how we've been requesting for about 5-10 years.
jason
Who is this Dion Sims guy that just caught a pass? Haven't really seen him during games this year.
Bears4Ever_34
That drive ruined by garbage officiating. Should have been a Howard touchdown. Not even close to a hold, and not even close to OPI.
Alaskan Grizzly
Wow if only no penalties? Where would our team be right now?
Bears4Ever_34
Another failed attempt by O'Donell to pin MIN inside the 10. What more does a guy have to do to prove he's not good in this league?
Alaskan Grizzly
Because they're moving the pocket how we've been requesting for about 5-10 years. I was actually talking about the D but yes the O too.
