April 26, 20187 yr comment_170880 Official Day 1 Thread. Draft day...let this be a draft that we look back on that brought tremendous value to the franchise! Report
April 26, 20187 yr Author comment_170881 These may be famous last words, but of all the top defensive players, there really isn't a guy that is on the list of possible Bears picks at 8, who I really strongly don't want to draft. This is unique to most years where there are always a few guys that I want to stay away from (or possible positions, etc). Probably famous last words but about the only move that would irritate me is if we drafted wideout at 8 or reached on some ILB who wasn't one of the top 4 or 5 names we've already discussed here on the board. April 26, 20187 yr Author comment_170882 Some reports out there that Baker Mayfield expected to go #1 to the Browns. In addition, Josh Allen has a crisis going on related to tweets dating back from high-school (which just surfaced). Between Mayfield going at 1 and Allen having to do massive damage control...it could create for a big shift in the top of the draft vs. what most everyone was thinking. Report
April 26, 20187 yr Author comment_170883 By the way, Shaqueem Griffin is a guy I would be intrigued with getting. Great story, great athlete, great football player. Report
April 26, 20187 yr comment_170890 All of this interest and attention then it will end up like a bad first date. Report

Im feeling the same way this year. Lot's of good defensive playmakers will be available to choose from no matter what happens. Report
April 27, 20187 yr comment_170912 #1 CLE selects Baker Mayfield (lol) #2 NYG selects Saquon Barkley (solid pick but left QBs on the board. Report
April 27, 20187 yr comment_170915 Denzel Ward!!! I’m thrilled with that because I don’t want a secondary player. Also, Cleveland didn’t trade down so there are still 2 QB’s on the board. Report
April 27, 20187 yr comment_170916 Big surprises from Cleveland taking Mayfield and Ward Nelson falling. Report
April 27, 20187 yr comment_170919 That my friends should drop Chubb or Nelson to 8 because someone is taking Rosen or Allen. Report

April 27, 20187 yr comment_170928 if we keep the pick TB may be making the Edmunds / Smith decision for us LOL Report
April 27, 20187 yr comment_170930 I still hope the Bears trade down. I don't want any of the LBs at this spot. Report
