Tannehill resigns w/ TEN for $118M/4-yr deal

Huge payday and obviously way out of the Bears league in terms of cap space. I bet the Bears settle on someone like Keenum.

Insane for a guy who only threw what 15 and then 14 passes in back to back playoff wins.

Definitely not interested in Keenum here.

I got it, I am just saying if they are going for a free agent, then with this market, there is no way the Bears can afford anyone above someone like Keenum. So a Dalton trade may be what happens since the price is controlled.

FWIW Spotrac has Trubisky's value listed at $27.8mil/yr.

Shows everyone the over cost of signing free agents.  Good for  him bad for anyone needing a QB right now.  So our options are:

Keenum

Sudfeld

Matt Moore

Outside shot Mariota

Anyone want a jeff Driscol?

As far as trades, I think Pace could work out something to trade but as far as Carr's 22 mil a yr  doesn't fit our cap . That would mean  MT would have to  go and who is going to trade for him? As far as Dalton , paying 17 mil for the backup doesn't feel logical and his salary doesn't fit our cap either.
