BOOM!

Running to his left, laser to James for a TD! James lays out, perfect throw and catch. This is what we have been waiting for.

Where have the TEs been this year?  Why, why, why haven’t they been using them more?

TEs have 4 receptions and a TD, Mooney has the other 3 receptions. They are perfect for this offense because they can assist on the pass pro, and still go out into a route like Kmet did.

DHC with a huge PBU/PD on 3rd and 7. That is one more than Jackson has all year.

Slye hits again, now from 52. SF now with 3 FG attempts. Defense doing their job. Now the offense needs another TD. 10-6 Bears.

Curious, is this a penalty?  ?

AZ, there have been a few, but yeah, that one is too easy to see from the back judge. It's almost like they don't like calling things on Williams even though he holds on every play.

Finally a penalty against the 49ers, hands to the face with another long Fields scramble for a first.

Herbert does not go down on first contact, seems slippery.

This has been a super quick first half. 2-minute warning already. Bears at the 18. WOuld be nice to score last and then get the ball to start the 2nd half.

2nd Illegal man downfield on the RPO. Penalties really make these drives tough.

Both Daniels and Whitehair struggling mightily today. The most tenured, and usually solid, players on the o-line.  Here I thought Mustipher was the problem.

‘Former 1st round pick’ Williams. ?

Bears get conservative but at least get some points, Santos again perfect, Bears 13-6.

With one timeout, the defense needs to close the half out with 80 seconds left.

All things considered, Borom has been holding up well so far.  Even with Bosa lined up on him from time to time.

I agree, now the unit needs some reps together to build that cohesion. The best part is this will arguably be the worst Borom plays, rookie coming off a long injury break.

Ugh, of course, the defense leaves Vildor one on one with Deebo with no safety over the top. Huge play. Just double Deebo, he is their only deep threat.

Quick slant on 3rd down to Goodwin with some pressure on Fields. Wild to see a WR with separation.

SF now doing some run blitzes. Need to take advantage of that pressure.
