March 14, 20233 yr comment_196860 I’m not sure what to think. He had a decent year with 7 sacks but seems to be blooming late (at 28) or maybe he peaked? Didn’t really wow anyone at the combine in 2017. https://www.mockdraftable.com/player/demarcus-walker?position=DL Report

Would have led our team. Report
March 14, 20233 yr comment_196863 And hes a place filler at that salary - a decent pro, but not a core player. This is the kind of placekeeper you put in a position before you draft someone for the same position. And on the DL you need a rotation anyway, so he is like Rieff or Schoefield - they play until a rookie can displace them, and they are depth and rotation players, but if your rookie struggles, they can legitimately start, but wont likely be a star. Maybe it's from Eberflus, but it seems the Bears like to sign Titan players. Nice signing. He can play the edge and maybe slide inside occasionally on pass downs. Report

March 14, 20233 yr comment_196870 Meh, I guess we’ll see. Seems a lot like AQM. Who had a peak 6 sacks (but started a full season) the year before Chicago signed him for a very similar contract. I did read he had been working with a position coach this last year and attributes his success to that. That is encouraging. Report
March 14, 20233 yr comment_196872 He's a DT in our scheme. Very short highlights but seems to offer a bit of versatility in alignment. I'd say he's similar to Justin Jones so figure those two are our backup DTs. At this point I'm just expecting another place holder DT, likely an older vet who has a higher floor for a year or two, versus taking a flier on a younger guy who might have more upside but still needs development. Then we go to the draft. Seems like a certainty that we'll be drafting 2 DTs. Report
March 14, 20233 yr comment_196873 I'm not sure he's a starting 3T, I think those were mostly passing downs? But he is versatile and a good rotational piece who can play inside and out for sure. Report

Listen to a beat writer for the Titans today, he did most of his damage playing inside. I read that he had 42 pressures last year, I stated 19 before All of this on 494 defensive snaps. He had 17 QB hits, we as a team only had 20. at worst he played better than anyone we had last year in limited snaps. He could be what we all hoped Gibson would be. He should not be taken as a Mike Pennel signing. ( just a guy) Report
March 14, 20233 yr comment_196893 Poles is going bring some players we know very little about but started last year in the league. Example: Greg Gaines started for the Rams next to Donald. 36 tackles, 4 sacks, 6 TFL, 6 QB hits and 1 fumble recovery. He can be got cheap and could be a rotational NT. Report

( just a guy) yeah but thats as a pass rusher on 3rd downs and passing situations. he in not a 3 down 3T, hes not a run stuffer, he doesnt demand double teams etc. I dont think he is a proper DT at all, just a DE that moves inside on passing downs.
