March 10, 20251 yr comment_221287 Poles keeps money reasonable and 2 yr outs. Wasn't he just cut today? Report
March 10, 20251 yr comment_221289 I think all of these give the Bears quite a bit of flexibility when Caleb would be due to get paid, etc. Report
March 10, 20251 yr comment_221295 I have no idea if he’s still good, but even if he can’t pass rush like he he used to, he can still be a good run defender and the Bears were really bad stopping the run once Billings went down. I do really like that Poles has added guys on both lines (Thuney and Jarrett) who are not only good players but leaders and respected vets. There hasn’t been much good veteran leadership on the lines in a while. Report
March 10, 20251 yr comment_221297 And with all the obvious holes filled; OG, OC, OG, TE, DE and DT, we now have draft flexibility. Report
March 10, 20251 yr comment_221305 Very surprised by this. I always liked his game just don’t know what he looked like last year and what we can expect. Are we going to cut Billings? Or will he and Grady be the NT rotation? Add 3 tech in the draft? I can think of several 2nd Rd DT who would look good in this rotation. Report

Billings should be safe. Pickens should be on notice. I also like the flexibility it gives Dexter. Report

March 10, 20251 yr comment_221309 Adding all pro players can't hurt even if they're not at top of their game. They can add so much to growth of young players. Cut down his rotation time. Report

Jeanty, Will Johnson, S . I think they trade back a few times and still get a Zabel, Grant, TE? Then we will be back to the trenches. The good defenses have a stud S or more edge players. If Brisker can't have a career, we can't rule that out. Report

Or who can squeeze the pocket. Report
