I'm reading between the lines of what he said but IMO he struggled because he wasn't putting in the work either on the field or in the classroom. I think he's learned a lot in the last year (mostly his words) but I think he's going to get a big shock when he first lines up to cover DJ or Rome. I see him on the practice squad in year 1.
