Bears select Zah Frazier, CB at #169.

Practice Squad fodder until he is 30. He will be competing for a roster spot, has speed, but will be 25 this season.

He has measurables - like legit tools. Big and fast.

With the last 2 picks, they added speed to ST/D.

Frazier seems like he has tangibles compete.  The age hurts and he has Luther burden small hands.

Rarely will any of these Day 3 picks amount to anything, so you go with a special trait and hope the others can come around. Still would've liked an RB to add to the room.

Poles said way back in Feb Al Harris told him about Zah as good press corner prospect for the 4th or 5th round.

Late round picks is where you take non prefect players. Harris recommended him. Has traits NFL teams love, speed and size.

I think a lot of these guys can be paired up with the position coaches they are gifts for, and probably put in a word for? Maybe that's why it looks so weird this year.

Johnson - Loveland
Randle-El - Burden
Roushar - Trapilo, Newman
Allen - Turner, Hyppolite
Harris - Frazier
Bienemy - Monangai

After watching his introductory press conference this guy wasn't the most mature player in his early college career.   I'm reading between the lines of what he said but IMO he struggled because he wasn't putting in the work either on the field or in the classroom.  I think he's learned a lot in the last year (mostly his words) but I think he's going to get a big shock when he first lines up to cover DJ or Rome.  I see him on the practice squad in year 1.
