Penalties by the young guys keep killing us. The Ravens DL is out playing us at the line of scrimmage. We need to make adjustments., 

So far the game has been relatively clean on penalty calls.  One that I saw was questionable was early against Ravens when they were called for an offense face mask.  

Watch the spots, BAL getting +0.5 yards a play on almost every spot.

Ouch.

Halftime thoughts: 

Johnson is being too cute with the play calls.  Where did Loveland go?  Need more quick throws out and in.  Where are the deep shots?

Edit:  Caleb Williams is a f@cktard.  Two times, he's thrown away a ball and had no clue where his receivers were.  Maddening!

Caleb should have run out of bounds instead going down. Pretty stupid  decision.

Exactly. Swift may be limited. Don't know why they are running with Moore with multiple carries when Swift was so successful the last two weeks.

The Bears O-Line is not handling pressure at all, and where are the hot routes?

That was IG, but he could have rolled to the right and made something happen.

And Cairo with a withering FG attempt to end the half.  Fitting.  

The play calls have been confusing. If you know they are bringing pressure, you don't have all receivers running long developing routes.

58 yarder just missed, that penalty was the difference. 

Noodle leg woefully short on a 58 yard FG. What a disaster of a half on both sides of the ball.

There is no reason for Swift to only have 4 carries unless he is hurt. Moore has 2.

Caleb needs to step up his game.  His long run was great, but if your not going to run out of bounds, then dont slide and get the extra yards.  Then 2 intentional grounding calls is poor.  His game day mind is not right

If you watch the intentional grounding plays, there was nowhere to go with the ball. Where is the outlet? The hot route? I didn't see one on either. That was already a bad play, which was made worse by the penalty. They need to fix the blocking or have the routes to account for the pressure.

Caleb's worst play was sliding instead of running out of bounds. Time was more important than yards once he had the first down.

I guess we should've expected this when your top CB is your 3rd string.

He actually did on the second one, but that doesn't even matter.  He knows where his receivers are.  Throw the damn ball out of bounds in their direction.  

Worst defense in the NFL and Caleb can't do shit against them. It also doesn't help that this playcalling has been atrocious. Where are all the crossers and drag plays that get YAC in this offense? Where are the toss runs that were working so well the last two weeks?? What are we doing??

He had Rome beyond the first down and throws it underneath and did not look like he was under pressure. I dont get it.
