I thought we would have a good defense with Dennis Allen. It's been shocking so far this year. There hasn't a thing that has looked good. With piss poor special teams, its a shock we have as many wins as we've manages to accumulate this year.

I think DA is ok - he's higher risk, higher reward, and im good with that.

I think the problem, which was completely predicted before the season started, is we have no pass rush at all, and compound that with JJ and Kyler out and we are terrible.

We desperately need to revamp the DL.

Olsen is slipping.  He said this was “well beyond the 4th down marker”.   (Sorry pics came out reverse order).

Good catch. That's a playcalling/receiver issue. Can't have a route short of the sticks on 3rd and 5.

After many years of having to go to sports bars to see the Bears games during the 90s, and 00s, I learned to watch the game without audio - or worse with loud audio for another game going LOL

Now, with Sunday Ticket, watching at home all these years, I often mute the audio, the announcers are always ridiculous in some way or another.

In addition to being awful, the defense is getting tired now too.

Starting to think Dennis Allen is not all that. The Bears got lucky with the turnovers early on but when they are not there it looks really bad

I think he doesnt have the horses. Maybe he IS bad, but its hard to know until he has talent.

Like a hot knife going through butter. If DA was any good, surely he can call plays that doesn't expose our weaknesses. I hate this defensive performance.

Not a fan of Wright (the defender) but he’s come up with a fair share of TOs so far.  Well if you ignore the dropped INT earlier in the game.

Edit:. Oops my bad. The “chirper” with the TO last drive. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I dunno how you hide a lack of pass rush tho?

Yes and earlier in the season when they were making all those TOs the offense did little with it.  Hopeful that’ll change this drive.

How can Jaxson Dart, 7 starts,  play in rythem and move the ball yet the Bears who have all this 1st round talent not even look professional.  Caleb needs to count 1, 2...pass.

Redzone continues to plague this team. Ben Johnson's play calling continues to be garbage. Why is DeAndre Swift in the game there instead of Monangai, who is a MUCH better running in tight spaces?

He's a more accurate QB than Kaleb and to many drops. I suggest running the ball more. WTF

It would be 1, 2, sack most plays.

And Dart is playing the Bears defense which is literally giving him free 10 yard plays.

My favorite goalline play is roll the QB out and either RB or TE fades to the goalline, Run or Pass.

I like it when we stick everyone at the line of scrimmage and then either bring pressure or bail out and cover. Especially with a young QB. Got to be better that what we have done so far

we did that a bunch today too - and I agree i like that a lot better than the constant giant zone weve played for years.
