Terrible playing calling, no one making plays. Swift fumbles at goalline, refs only calling penalties on the Bears. Wild how much they have to overcome and they are only down by 3.

I'll wait until I hear it for certain, but if I had to bet, I'd bet it's his Achilles. freak.

Season over, fu%k. Non-contact injury, probably an Achilles, can we not have nice things?

Agree on the potential injury. Big time disagree on the lost season. BJ is supposed to be the next best thing and I suspect he’ll adapt his offense accordingly. Shoulda been ALOT more running in this game. Last year after an 0-2 start, Johnson adapted to a lot more zone rushing to pull more outta Swift and Monangai. Then about 4-5 weeks into the season remembered they drafted Loveland in the first round and started using him. WAY too early to call it a lost season.

BJ was ass today. Time for an ego check. Leaving Loveland in to block, on the last play, was stupid.

Bagent is a solid backup but with limited arm strength. Teams will stack the box and do exactly what Flores did today. Without Williams they will be lucky to win 5 games.

Loveland has 1 reception for 3 yards on the season. He had more targets and receptions last year as a rookie coming off injury and not knowing the offense. He was supposed to be the next Bowers/McBride. His lack of involvement in the passing game has been a disappointment.

A week after Swift has an amazing game he fumbles on the 1-yard line. That was the difference in the game. The Bears win 10-9 with that TD. Such a terrible loss in so many ways, Williams hurt, Swift fumble, Santos blocked FG, ass play calling. At least the defense stepped up, but how can the Bears never play a complete game?

Hamstring injury for Williams, thank god.

That's a relief, I feared it was the achilles.

As for Ben Johnson, he can be good or bad and today was bad. They were not ready for what Flores had.

Hopefully this is an early season wake up call. Defense can still improve but looked better. I have no idea what happened to the offense, and I don't understand where all the easy quick passes were to beat the blitz. Those are typically to the TEs. Very frustrating so far, especially considering how good they looked against CAR. CAR held ATL to 3 pts this week.

CLE beat TB and NO beat BAL, so anything can happen in the first month of the season.

Any one else feel that the Bears should have took the FG on 4th and 1, when on the 8 yd line, that they converted but later had FG blocked?

Take the 3, game is tied, and we Caleb escapes injury with plenty of time left.

Meh. You still have Keenum as an option too. Regardless, the play calling should have leaned into the run game ALOT more than it did. A week after both RBs got over 100 each and an inclement game to boot. Play calling was indeed suspect.
